Don't forget it's a privilege to be on the same pitch as Man City. Awful dross As it was last season at the Brit!!!!!! When Man City turn up its difficult for anyone to stop them. But it fits your ongoing agenda to slag off one of SCF's most successful manger since 1960. We played really well until half time that night with a depleted team. Last half hour they tore us apart though

Correct BUT we actually tried to win and did we score and look really good at one point in the game at 1-1 but our injuries caught up with us that night BUT your missing the point we tried to win the game. Two forwards he played but know where near playing as a two up top, they were centre backs ffs! Just complete bullshit from him.

Some quite forensic analysis of one team's tactics tonight. Why could this be? Some posters don't like him, are glad he's gone and hope his team who are one of our rivals fuck up royally?

On that showing TP has his work cut out to keep Albion up this season.Only the 1st game but that wasn't a performance from a TP team.I think there's problems at the Hawthorns and I really don't think the Albion fans want him there

It was perfectly in context with the article as you know. I don't need lectures on obsessions from the Pulis Witchfinder General who has again turned up on a Stoke City message board crying about laughter cast in the direction of West Brom and their manager! Winky thing. Did the reference add or detract from an otherwise decent article though? I'll tell you. It detracted from it. Was it inaccurate? I already understand that any mention of Pulis without falling to the ground in an orgasmic fit is a negative in your eyes. It was a relevant observation in the context of the article. Was it accurate?

That display tonight was abysmal, true they are difficult to cope with on their day but the trait he has of playing players out of position is insane, he did the same with Lescott last season, he achieved what I never thought I would live to see with Stoke but at a huge cost both financially and the damage he has caused to the image of the club, we sacked him at least one season to late in all honesty.

Some quite forensic analysis of one team's tactics tonight. Why could this be? No doubt why those of a 'particular view' would take to the keyboard especially as the scoreline underpinned that view. However, this forum is also open to those of an 'opposite persuasion' to refute those suggestions which offend. The alternative viewpoint seems somewhat sparse - unless, of course, they wish to treat such calumnies with contempt.

I've been taking the piss out of West Brom and their managers for the best part of 25 years.
I'm not going to stop now.

It's a good job West Brom have signed Salomon Rondon because Rickie Lambert looked like a player who is finished as a top level player tonight. He didn't get much service in terms of goalscoring opportunities but the ball barely stuck at all every time they played it up to him and Mangala seemed to have the better of him aerially all game as well. He's done well to reach this level given that he was still playing League One football aged 27 but he looks like a Championship level player to me now.

Should we really be looking at Albion as rivals anymore?
Our squad is a class above that.

I could ask you to point out one word of inaccuracy and demand to know why I should leave West Brom out of a analysis of transfer dealings when they are so out of step with general trends. However...... It's okay. Don't trouble me with your view on accuracy. I've just gone and re-read the first few pages of the Shaqiri thread!! Fucking hell!! Hahahahaha

Simple really!!!

The Pulis haters were on a pretty sure thing with a thread vs Man City, wonder if we will have one when they play Norwich or the like. They couldn't wait for him to go but are obsessed with him since he left. Sad lot.

Simple really!!! Think you will find he had a few sly digs at our supporters whilst he was here, just to put the record straight and all that, he did a fantastic job with virtually unlimited backing from the Chairman, his spending plans however were unsustainable especially when you consider some of the dire shit he served up in his last two seasons, he could not have taken us any higher without buckets full of cash which we could not afford under FFP, he had to go and he did.

Lambert in the Mama role as well. Death, taxes and a Pulis line up against a top four side - all inevitable.
I tongue in cheek predicted a 9-0 for Citeh tonight. It literally could have been, they were that dominant.

22:36 PULIS HAS TRANSFER TARGETS
Stoke City boss Tony Pulis admits he has quite a few transfer targets and wants to get business completed before the end of the transfer window this month.

So the easiest thing for me is to surrender once and for all I don't think pointing out what you actually said qualifies for splitting hairs. Do you? I have no idea why people who think it is an act of treachery to laugh at Pulis inflicting on West Brom of all clubs ( which is self explanatory) the excuse for a style of football he does bother to read threads where it is nailed on it is going to happen. I promise you I'm not snipping. I'm positively revelling in it. Just to help the joy of it all, the bloke has just been on claiming he has been too adventurous tonight and vowing not to do it again! It's priceless stuff!

It's priceless stuff! There was the too adventurous quote after the game where he apologised saying he took responsibility and it took players away from what they were supposed to be doing. There was also the might get criticised quote before the game where he said that he might get criticised for going two up front. Sounds like he's playing games with someone here. Most likely the chairman who has told him he would like to see a more adventurous approach this season? So job done, his taking full responsibility is nothing of the sort it's most likely to make a point to the chairman to keep his nose out of team affairs because he hasn't got a clue. Just a hunch like. BM
