Like what it is saying but who on earth is Marc Barta, is it Munny in disguise perhaps, following his dance embarassment?

Our business has been poor imo Well, we'll not know that yet really The biggest boo boo was the club coming out and raising expectations about superstar signings these guys we've signed may be absolute dross.......they also may well be superstars in the making we just need to be patient and support them to the hilt

Our business has been poor imo Not really had we landed soares and say shakiri it would have been sensational , as it is we still have a good chance for a classy right winger , add to that an emergency centre half and we've done very well

As it happens, none of them have. We could be starting the game sunday with the whole spine of them team gone/missing (Begovic, Shawcross, NZonzi and Bojan) I'm not worried or doom mongering but I don't consider our business to be anything more than very average.

We finished 9th.

Saying we have had a poor window would suggest the club is failing to back the manager , all the club can do is chase these next level players and hope we land some of them . When we are constantly told via the press we aren't good enough for x,y,z, player doesn't mean our transfer strategy is wrong . Or should we just carry on with the dogs home policy l

IMO Robbie is closer to reality than some of the doom and gloom merchants on Oatcake.
Granted we have not made that marquee signing (yet) and it will take some time for the new younger players to get up to speed, but the world hasn't come to an end because we have sold N'Zonzi and Begovic. In time we will repair the damage of losing N'Zonzi; we have 3 (or 4) excellent goal keepers, and if anything, losing Moses is still the biggest damage to repair and I'm confident the club will yet do that with the purchase or loan of a class winger.
The club has now amassed a huge depth of young talent that will serve us well for years to come - if we can hold on to them.

I think the additions to our developement squad has been brilliant and has gone under the radar with a lot of people , like you say it will serve the club very well in the future .

Is Van Ginkel as good as N'Zonzi - Jury definitely out Is Wollscheid as good as Huth - Definitely not. Is Butland better than Begovic - Not yet but could be. Is Affelay as good as Moses - We'll see. Is Johnson as good as Bardsley / Cameron - Haven't the foggiest, should be on paper but we'll see.
Shawcross injured too so I'd say that the squad is weaker than last year.

I love reading anything that makes us look good, however - notwithstanding Savage tipping us for relegation in Hughes' first season - he has always been a bit of a Mark Hughes cheerleader.
I worry more that Hughes may have brought too many new faces in and he is in danger of making the same mistake that he made at QPR. The players, on an individual basis were all okay, but there were problems with attitude and also having enough time to get so many new players to gel. Hughes is a great manager and I am glad we have him, but he appears less concerned with 'DNA' than Pulis and that worries me when eight new players are thrown into a well establishes and tight team collective.
