Stick a contract under his nose ???? 4 year deal. Oatcakes and wright's pies for his pay. I went to see a relative in Spain a few years ago and when I visited the local supermarket they sold wrights pies!!! Madness. They sell these in my village in Spain also. Although some of them look like they have been kicked all the way here

I have been in Spain for the last 3 months and the amount of Stoke City shirts I have seen amounts to 0, although looking at Bojan and Muni's twitters they obviously have Spanish fans who follow their careers and therefore Stoke

We need to get some on board.
Get our Barca brothers to distribute some kit.
Get them across on a free trip.
Do something!

The 12/13 away kit is the closest we are getting to that. I still wear that one all the time. Best away top by FAR, would love to see it return

You are hard pressed to see Stoke shirts for sale anywhere outside Stoke..thats the problem. We seem to have a penchant in our marketing dept. to keep them close to home unlike the likes of Arse,Chelsea ,ManU , Liverpool, Spurs ,Everton, Wet sham who seem to have them worldwide in every sports shop i have been in. We need to broaden our horizons..there are people who would buy them given the opportunity.

I always find it bizarre when I see clubs the size of ours with shirts on sale outside of that town/city surely they can't sell many. Do we have shirts on sale in New Balance stores?

I thought you meant because she supports Stoke which is about 1500 m away She also supports Real Oviedo. I'm not sure she's as totally committed to being a football fan as us lot!

Bit cringeworthy really this thread, we've got 4 Barca rejects who are completely surplus to Barcelona's needs and we think that we've got a special relationship. Why did'nt we have threads like this regarding Sunderland a few years back?

I'm off to Seville for the 4th time in sept with the Mrs, and we always take in a game whilst there! Thankfully it's Betis at home when we are over this time, otherwise I could have seen me upsetting a few locals at the Sanchez pizjuan for letting Nzonzi and konoplywanker just what I thought of them! Especially after a cruzcampo or ten!

Why did'nt we have threads like this regarding Sunderland a few years back? Muniesa and Moha could have easily stayed at Barça. Bojan was quite a coup and Affelay is an amazing player on his day. Are there many other clubs in the premier who have signed 4 ex Barcelona players for the sum total of almost nothing? Or any other league for that matter. Cringeworthy? Seems quite a special relationship to me. That Barca fans have no idea who Stoke are is neither here nor there really. But they actually do now.

Yes there are, well at least one in Barcelona anyway. In Barcelona this week for a holiday and my son was wearing the new away shirt yesterday, and as we were waiting to cross the road at traffic lights a middle aged Spanish guy was proud to show us the Stoke app on his phone and couldn't stop chatting about Stoke City in general. He was so excited to see a 'real' Stokie he kept turning around as he walked off, made his day I guess.
Did the Nou Camp tour yesterday and a young Spanish Liverpool shirted fan got some ribbing from his mates when he saw my sons shirt. Some good light hearted banter helped pass the time in the crazy queues, and as much as I detest the new away shirt it is getting noticed over here already.

Bojan's Barcelona career had long been over in reality, ditto Afellay. Still cool though!
