It's easy mate, just pick a team of players for 50 million, a team name and away you go

Right I know I'm destined to make a complete idiot of myself here but I don't care, I need this explaining to me ...
Just looking at the top eleven scoring players in the league: fantasyfootball.telegraph.co.uk/premierleague/players/
And you can actually create a 4-3-3 formation out of them.
Hart (36)
Sagna (39) Kompany (43) Mangala (33) Kolorov (40)
Barkley (33) Mahrez (48) Payet (33)
Vardy (36) Pelle (33) Wilson (37)
Some £6.4 million under budget too.
Anybody who had been mad enough to have picked that team from the start would now be sitting on a whopping 411 points!
However, when I checked the leader board, the current top seven actually have MORE than 411 points. fantasyfootball.telegraph.co.uk/premierleague/leaderboards/
1. Sander Kovacs 445 2. Richard Burton 436 3. Russell Cane 428 4. Christopher Henderson 424 5. Richard Burton 415 6. Andrew Stevens 415 7. Dave Thompson 414
Now I know I must be missing something extremely obvious and I'm prepared for the humiliation in having it explained to me but ... how does that work then?
Cheers

I imagine it's down to good timing of transfers mate. I.e. having Kompany at the start when he scored his goals, transferring Martial in before he went on his run etc It's all to do with transferring platers in at the right time, when they're in form.

But that's the bit I don't get mate, if you had the current highest scoring eleven players in your team right from the very first match, that still would only give you a grand total that is 34 points LESS than the current leader(s), that would mean that you would have had to have transferred players out of your team who had already scored considerable points at the point you let them go.
I must be just having a stoopid moment with this one.

Sometimes injuries or suspensions force your hand (Cortouis, Shaw etc), or a team might have a good run of fixtures so you transfer in one of their players, or new players sign (Martial etc).
