Sentinel But after reading about the case in The Sentinel last week, a man in his 70s, wrote to Mr Blackstock's barrister saying he remembers an interview on BBC Radio Stoke's 'Praise and Grumble' in which Mr Fox said something relevant to the case.
Judge Philip Butler agreed to allow the pensioner to give evidence to the court and adjourned the case until Thursday.

I remember him saying 'one up the bum, no harm done'
But that might have been an episode of The Office in 2007.
I'll check.

Didnt he once apologise for conceding a goal against Colchester in the league, claiming his gloves had been smeared with deep heat by one of the apprentices?

When questioned on it, Fox said "I've got the arse this side so I'd only wanna be sitting where you're sitting if he was wearing a skirt so I could look up... at it..."

It's a bit ballsy to come on to a Stoke forum and ask Stoke fans to try and help build the case against Peter Fox which in turn is being used as an angle to get money from the club we all support.
It was sometime last year that someone from Smith Partnership Solicitors was speaking to the sentinel in an article which mentioned it could be worth "hundreds of thousands, if not millions of pounds" I wasn't around in those days, but even so I don't think I would be actively trying to dig through the banks of my memory to try and help a solicitors firm get money from Stoke.

We all had the treatment as a youngster, one remembers in my place of work on my first day, Howard mixed up my pot of pens in my desk and swapped lids so i ended up writing in red pen instead of black , i felt like a such a twerp. Mother said in my return from work ' what a silly man' but i can see the funny side now and in a way it made the man one is today.

I have no info about this Peter Fox chap, but I do remember a Sam Fox from around that period and have a rather tacky (in more ways than one) scrapbook I could forward if it would be of any assistance? By the way, bet you weren't expecting to be doing this when you were studying law were you... '12 Angry Men' would've been a very different film nowadays eh?

Yeah, that's right, smeared with Deep Heat and rubbed around his chuffers....I recall Peter being most distressed when learning what the apprentice had done with his goalie gloves!!!

Why the fuck would we grass on one of our own, even if such interview material existed?
Like many young lads joining a senior football team, I got stripped bollock naked, tarred and feathered, and left tied to a lamp-post outside a gay bar on tour in 1983. The rest stays on tour.
Do I need a solicitor?
Do I fuck...

Even worse, is the fact that the poster didn't up front tell us why he wanted the information - i.e. which side he represents. I'm sure that those of us who didn't know which side he represents could easily work it out, but it is a bit unprofessional to not say so when you make a public appeal. After all when the police or the solicitors representing a client make a public appeal on TV for information they always make it clear that they are the police or that they are acting for the victim or the accused. Very unprofessional, possibly dodgy, I have made a mental note never to employ them.

In the interests of balance, perhaps everyone who didn't hear the interview should also email Jack, just to confirm that they know nothing. Might not help his case, but he would have a nice easy Friday morning at work sifting through his inbox... and we all love an easy Friday morning at work(preferably followed by a 4-pinter Friday lunch!)
