Well over £1,000 - biggest expense is fuel - and how much that costs me depends upon how full my car is and how often I can car share with another driver.

Since I'm in the USA I get one new Stoke jersey a year. I also pay for cable to watch the games on NBC. When I can watch them I stream. So per year not much, besides shipping which is like an extra £20 after the jersey. So about $100-$120 a year. Still need to see stoke in a competitive match... This makes me realize I need to get my ass over to England soon

This makes me realize I need to get my ass over to England soon How'd supporting Stoke come about? Funny story. I was just watching the EPL as a young buck in 2010 saw Stoke v West Ham or some other shit team. Anyway we scored a belter from Matty Ethers if I remember correctly. I was like who is this team? Then I heard you fans in an uproar. Then I could hear chants throughout the Brit. Then one of the commentators actually said that Stoke had the loudest fans in the EPL at that point. So it wasn't so much of falling for the team at the time. It was falling for you, the supporters. I was so awed that you could hear the joy in the numerous chants I could here through the TV! I've been posting a ton of our team news on reddit and someone on there recommend here Bc it's dead on our subreddit page. So I came here and was excited to see so many Stoke fans that I could finally connect with. All and all fun stuff. Never thought I'd like Stoke this much back in 2010! I've only seen Stoke play in person once and that was in Columbus, Ohio. (2012/2013) during the summer pre-season. I was able to ball boy with a few friends. Drove across the U.S. To see that game! So I haven't been a Stoke fan that long but man do I love this team! I never go anywhere without a Stoke shirt anymore Sorry for the long read lol

I always think that when there's a supporter with no geographical or family reason to support a club outside of the top teams there's generally a good story behind it, I support Stoke for a similar reason although luckily for me I live a little closer to the stadium so I've seen a handful of games! The subreddit is dead btw but r/soccer has a surprising amount of Stoke fans, no idea who, if anyone, from the oatcake posts on there though!
