For me it would be Sergi Roberto.
He seems a lot less flash than the othe other 2 who come across as real mercenaries who'd jump ship at the first opportunity. Roberto on the other hand comes across as an intelligent lad who's not interested in the bright lights.
He's got mates already here and looks a class act on the pitch. If I was going to throw big bucks at a player he'd be the one for me.
Just hope Barca are happy to sell.

Steven N'Zonzi
Closely followed by Victor Moses.
That'd be ace.

I think sooner or later we will get one and its exciting as to who. I genuinely believe we're really going for it and it's not just some gesture too make it look like we're being ambitious
Just a case of who
Exciting times. It's just such a shame that agents are exposing our deals to the papers and the papers are underselling us as a club to hinder all the hard work the manager / board are putting in.

I really don't think we will.
And is Roberto better than Fonz? Not at the minute.
I would love Shaqiri out of all of these big names mentioned but I just can't see it.

Oh for incomings, it's Shaqiri by a mile. By a mile. He is not that far from what World Class used to mean.
Not a chance of signing him though.

Has to be Shaqiri. Even though Moha may prove to be amazing in the future.

If I could choose anyone? Me.
At 39 years old I wouldn't expect a long term contract but my arse can warm a bench as well as anybodies. I'm still fit enough to last the final few minutes of any game at premier league pace, I'm fantastic at arm waving and gesticulation towards referees and should the unlikely happen and we score a goal while I'm on the pitch I can celebrate with the best of them, knee slides and everything.
Given I would likely only get a short term contract I'd have to push for 60k a week, you know to secure my future, but if I'm honest I'd probably settle for 40k.
I hear an ITK has said there is a press conference booked for 11, I should probably get down to CW early so they can get a shirt ready with my name on it, I can still fit in a medium.

Shaqiri would be the biggest signing in terms of club profile.
I think Roberto would be better in the long term as he looks ace. A lot of armchair fans wouldn't even blink if we signed him though, they don't buy him immediately on football manager when they play as man utd.

John Walters on a 5 year extension.
Geoff Cameron and Marc Wilson in their (ahem) "natural" centre midfield positions would be effectively like signing two new marquee players............

Which of the corners would they put the marquee?

Roberto sounds brilliant, but Shaqiri for me. Mainly because we need a winger desperately.

If TeePee was still manager he'd get a marquee signing over the line, maybe Yurt Zouma from Chelsea, Lee Camp or anyone from Wigwam? If we could just canvas support with Konoplyanka's representatives he could be the one.
