Nice to see. Nothing will hurt IS more than seeing their actions actually bring us all together.

Nice to see. Nothing will hurt IS more than seeing their actions actually bring us all together. This. IS can only be defeated by the "people". If a popular protest spreads across the Maghreb and through the Middle East IS will not survive. We touched on this earlier - the majority have to stand up against the minority. But the majority needs a leader. Who will be that person or persons? Because the current crop of Islamist leaders are utterly failing their people.

But the majority needs a leader. Who will be that person or persons? Because the current crop of Islamist leaders are utterly failing their people. It isn't going to happen though. It is much more complicated, and 'the people' may not be who we would like them to be. On the one hand ISIS is a Sunni /Shia feud , involving as much as anything revenge for perceived past injustices. On the other hand it represents the Saudi v Iran power struggle/ hatred. On top of that some Christian groups are involved due to their geographical position. Add to it the West's involvement, Oil, other 'strategic interests', the Kurdish question and the bordering countries such as Turkey it is hard to see a solution. For me ISIS will continue to grow until the West has to act. The two articles below exemplify the complexity ,Saudi Arabia realising that they have opened a can of worms, with the help of the West's invasion of Iraq and Libya. www.independent.co.uk/voices/comment/iraq-crisis-how-saudi-arabia-helped-isis-take-over-the-north-of-the-country-9602312.htmlwww.newsweek.com/saudi-arabia-isis-islamic-state-united-states-299047

The solution can only come from within the Muslim world and that means leaders who will put a stop to the issues you raise - including the inter-Islam conflict of Sunni v Shia. The best the West can offer is arguably our experience. We've been there. Albeit a long time ago. There is a way out.

Patrick I agree that western intervention is not the answer, but neither will a satisfactory answer come from within the factions involved. It is my opinion that the West may HAVE to intervene NOT to 'solve' the problems but for our own survival and protection , reluctantly, .

Shootings used to be just shootings.
Now shootings are labelled 'terrorism'.
What is behind this shift in language?
People still visited the UK after Michael Ryan went nuts with a gun...

Shootings done by terrorists are called terrorism. Shootings done by lone nutters are still called shootings. Not rocket science!

Shootings used to be just shootings. Now shootings are labelled 'terrorism'. What is behind this shift in language? People still visited the UK after Michael Ryan went nuts with a gun... ‘Terrorism’ is the unofficial or unauthorized use of violence and intimidation in the pursuit of political aims. An act of terrorism may take the form of a shooting or a mass shooting in this instance. A ‘nutter’ is someone who is crazy or psychotic. A ‘nutter’ may also engage in a shooting or mass shooting but it would not necessarily make it an act of ‘terrorism’. ‘Terrorists’ and ‘nutters’ are not mutually exclusive so you could have an act of ‘terrorism’ carried out by a ‘nutter’. No conspiracy theory here, only the English language with all its dexterity. Strangely just before I saw your post I was wondering to myself how long it will be before starkiller pops up and tells us this never happened and it was all a scam cooked up my Michael Gove and played out by BBC central casting with a few props and a bottle of tomato ketchup.

Looks like another fake event to me,you only have to study the interviews not 1 tear yet again.. Are you the same muslim who blamed the police for his wife running off to join ISIS? To be fair I'd be devestated too if my wife was that unsatisfied she ran off to one of the most dangerous places in the world just to get some good IS cock.

To be fair the weather is better than the UK, free camel rides and plenty of random buggery, beats walking behind the old man wearing a black post box in the rain , I wonder if we still pay job seekers to these terrorism tourists, hope not they stopped mine when I went to Benidorm proper pissed off if they get theirs still

You've obviously not watched the interviews with an open mind, you've based you opinion on news reports you have heard.try and think for yourself for a change and not be lead by the agenda based media

It might interest you to know that some people, when confronted with terrible news, do not present themselves as gibbering wrecks. They become that wreck when they are alone. You, on the other hand, are an abomination.
