For once I'm happy that a game has been moved to the Sunday, Ashes tickets for the Saturday meant I would have otherwise missed this game.

Great that the Liverpool game is our only televised fixture in the opening 2 months of the season. Saturday's at 3pm whenever and wherever possible, is how it should be. 4pm start for the opening fixture is fine as well. At least it isn't an early kick off or the Monday night fixture which is a real bonus. Dont Stoke lose out financially by only being on once ?

Dont Stoke lose out financially by only being on once ? Every team gets paid for 10 live games regardless of how many times they're actually shown. (So a team like ourselves who're usually only shown 8 or 9 times per season still pick up money for 10 games) Once a team passes 10 games they get 'x amount' per game (I'm sure last season it worked out at about £750k per game, so someone like a Newcastle who're usually shown about 20 times, will pick up an extra £7m compared to us)

We're used to it, it'll never change.

Struggling to care anymore. It's part and parcel of the league we're in.
We can't get all giddy when we start throwing millions at top calibre players, being able to financially out muscle some of Europe's top teams, and then complain about fixtures being moved for TV - the very thing that makes it all possible.
Dance with devil....

It's not that we're on just once since it doesn't really make any difference to me, but why are teams like West Brom, Palace and West Ham on 3 times?
And who the fuck wants to watch 4 Newcastle matches? Or 5 Everton matches?

I would be happy if we were never on BT ever again. Shit company, shit coverage and kick of at breakfast time. Fuck em. After their coverage at Loftus Rd last season and the persecution of Shawcross the club should do no interviews with them whatsoever It's was premeditated and resulted in him being punished a few weeks later v Swansea yet the same company covered WBA v Man Utd ( I think the game after that ? ) and made no issue of Smalling and Lescot doing the exact same thing Wankers

I fail to see the reasoning behind our low number of televised games ? Whenever we're on tv (at home) against the big boys you're almost certainly guaranteed a good spectacle. I'm wondering if it's largely down to viewing figures for our games ? Do people switch off when we come on and therefore less tv advertising gets sold ?

Friday night games don't bother me to much. Used to enjoy the odd friday night fixture when we were in the Championship. However sunday games can go fuck off and die a slow painful death.
