Bego had done a great job for the club but but honestly I not too bothered he's moving on, time for Butland to step up and become England No.1! (although not sure about Haugaard as back up)

That's right pal. If he'd of signed a new contract at Stoke he'd be living on the street or applying for a room at the Sally Army. Wouldn't he? So it is all about the money then. Yes it is. Doesn't matter if it's Begovic or the joe blogs average working man if someone comes along wanting to double your money your gonna take it. The fact that he'll win trophies is an added bonus. This image people have of loyalty in football has long been dead if Chelsea come sniffing for any of our players they would go, it really is that simple. I'm sure it's the same for you, your telling me if a rival company asked you to take up the exact same position you have now, doubled your wage and give you a massive signing up fee you wouldn't take it? No I Wouldn't, trust me. Happiness for me, and I have been in a similar position. But our humble lives are no comparison. I would prefer to start at a smaller club than warm the bench of a bigger one. But that's my opinion.

He doesn't give a shit about Stoke, none of the players truly will, I wouldn't if I was a player and was playing for us and had no other affiliation. Why would I? You're my employer, you pay my wages, I work my bollocks off for you, I go home and don't give a shit. Some players do care. They form emotional attachments to clubs and areas. I work as a Contractor in the oil industry..I never go home and don't give a shit. Some players, like some Contractors do care.

So, away from the Shaq fun and games, Percy saying we're insisting on a loan player from Chelsea?

7m plus Moses for a season would be a very good deal
Moses. Dior. An other ( next level )
Bojan
Makes for a potentially very strong counter attacking team away from home

So, away from the Shaq fun and games, Percy saying we're insisting on a loan player from Chelsea? Loftus Cheek would be an interesting one. I didn't realise he was Leon Cort's half brother?

I assume this has been discussed but Percy mentions...
"Victor Moses, who spent this season on loan at Stoke, is one target while Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Patrick Bamford or Nathan Ake could also come into contention."
Ake is a new one to me - seems to be a versatile LB/CB/DM Dutch 20 year old. I think we'd want a player more capable of making an immediate impact for one of our loan spots?

Looks like my source (the cleaner) knows her shit .. not looking for ITK status, honest. Post by GeneralFaye on Jun 24, 2015 at 10:49pm Take this with a large pinch of salt (I have).. but my mate's dad has worked in Bego's house quite a few times (he's got me a signed picture from the man himself so know this to be true) and he's been there today and been told Bego's leaving for Chelsea. This did come from the cleaner but I don't see why she or my mate's dad would bullshit about it as it's obvious he's off somewhere. Good luck on the bench Bego Post by GeneralFaye on Jun 24, 2015 at 10:58pm It's Chelsea, don't worry about him going to a rival. It's the whole reason why he's leaving. Post by GeneralFaye on Jun 25, 2015 at 11:30am He's going to Chelsea. I'll happily hold my hands up and apologise if he goes to Villa but it's absolute bollocks.

I hope Bego realises that if he does go to Chelsea a lot of the his media work will dry up.
I just can't see Question of Sport, MotD2, 5 Live, etc. calling too often to get a backup keeper on who's made a few appearances in the league cup.

Assuming the Kono deal is dead, I hope it's Moses. Haven't the pizza boys been waiting for the 'Kono' deal to end in tears before picking their one Chelski loanee? Obviously, Moses must be the No.1 choice by a country mile.

John PercySources at Stoke admit “there is a deal to be done” and the only delay has been over Chelsea deciding which player to loan out as part of the deal.

Who could we have on loan? Assuming Moses is a complete no-go

Why is Moses a complete no go?
Not overly keen on Bamford, Ake or Loftus-Cheek tbh.
We don't need the first two and wouldn't give them the game time. And if Fonz goes we need better than Loftus-Cheek.

A midfielder of theirs called Pasalic looked like a good potential player - but he seems to have joined Monaco on loan yesterday. If not Moses, they do seem to have a promising right-back that's been mentioned on here called Christensen? (said to be on 20k-a-week, which seems a lot for a youngster)Hard to know what to make of any of the youngsters though?

Moses is first choice obviously i'm not really sure who else we could get, as i assume Chelsea would want them playing the majority of games, Bamford would be a squad player, same with Ake and not sure on loftus-cheek yet

They also have that Kalas, who was on loan at middlesbrough last season, Rb/Cb, not sure if he is better than Geoff really though

In order i'd have
Moses Loftus-Cheek Ake Bamford
Thats not really based on ability just on what we need

Don't think we need Bamford or Loftus Cheek. Wouldn't mind Mikel if NZonzi is leaving. I think Moses would be our best option
