In the orange tree, Trent vale, just down from the training ground. I iterally walked in with him. He was wearing full Wales training kit, well Wales top and shorts. He walked in with A lad also in shorts but I swear it was a Lad from the back room staff at stoke I've seen before when I worked there. He walked in to two women and straight back out with the other lad.
Might be nothing in it but it was definitely him. Why else would he be in stoke?

Do people actually stil use the phrase "half caste" in the 21st century?

The big question is...
...how on Earth did you recognise Jack Collison on sight?

For anyone who has read Graham Greene's "The Power and The Glory", and you should, he refers throughout to the mixed race character relentlessly stalking the clergyman as "The Mestizo" which somehow I prefer

Were the two women that he walked into waitresses, and if so were they carrying food, that would explain why he walked straight out again, could be a costly schoolboy error that, and certainly would attract unwanted attention. Was the other lad only wearing shorts, again, this would explain why they left so promptly, as I am sure the Orange Tree do have a fairly strict dress code, and rightly so.

Another victory for the PC brigade Yes by pointing out an offensive phrase you're automatically part of the "PC Brigade" Do you not know where the word comes from and realise why if someone was mixed race they would find it grossly offensive?

Great. Another victory for the PC brigade Yes by pointing out an offensive phrase you're automatically part of the "PC Brigade" Do you not know where the word comes from and realise why if someone was mixed race they would find it grossly offensive? I was a witness a few years ago to a mugging on the London Underground, eventually the Brit Transport Police asked me for a statement. Basically I saw a group of 4 youths led by a " half Cast" mug a Chinese tourist. When I used the term " Half Cast " the PC said I could not, ok, "mixed race", nope, go on then...what shall I say.."Diversified Ethnicity" ok..they attacked the Chinese guy..."How do you know he was Chinese" ..OK the "Asian guy"...How do you know he was Asian...OK...I can't remember a thing...Can I go now. And I left.

I went to the office at Stoke Station to give a statement, maybe 3 or 4 weeks after the event, and it was only 2 days or so after the London Underground Bombings. I have absolutely no need whatsoever to make it up, so wind yr neck in a bit eh.

So basically the copper whilst ascertaining the facts about said mugging entered into a debate about what is/isn't politically correct after which you just told him you were leaving? Fair enough I stand corrected, not the finest example of policing I've ever come across......
