Anyone know what's going on with them? Passed the release date, can't order them and non in stores. Saw plenty of the away shirts last Sunday (looks much better in the flesh) but no-one wearing the home top. Not the best introduction to New Balance.

They were caught out with all of the pre-orders from Canada and the States especially.

If you're a grown man you shouldn't give a shit. Unless you want one for kids of course.

Been to the club shop in Hanley today and looked at the away top for the first time. It is absolutely dreadful. A really nice design let down by blatant corner cutting.
Ultra thin and cheap material and totally indefensible stuck on badges.
Thank god I don't buy them anymore and I pity those that do for themselves or their kids. Shocking.

Call me cynical? But my opinion on the delayed release for the Home top is that the pre orders were considerably higher for the home shirt than the away shirt?
So the club/new balance decided to delay the release so that the supporters will still buy the away shirt due to kids wanting them etc???
I've also heard a mention of an 3rd kit & is possibly similar to last seasons warrior away top?

Apparently we're having a 3rd kit too. Source? I saw it on a website the other day, I can't remember which one though but it did say its release date was for the 3rd July. I'm not sure how reliable the info was though.

I got a reply from NB and they maintain it was a quality issue but I am not convinced.
thank for your email and sorry for the belated reply.
We are unfortunately very aware of the problem with the new Stoke City FC home shirts. Due to quality issues in the production we were not able to fulfill our order requests. We deepy regret it and sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused to the fans. Part of what makes this collection unique is the quality control and in this case we did experience an unexpected delay. I can also guarantee you that we have promptly informed of the delay all customers that had pre-orderd the shirt and offered them several options to solve the problem, such as a full refund of the order.
Once again, we apologize if this has caused disappointment and frustration. Please be assured that we are taking corrective measures to prevent such delays in the future.
Thank you. Best regards,

Ok so first year of the contract for New Balance and they crock this up. Would be hard for Adidas, Puma, or Nike to bounce back from this. If I was Stoke I'd cancel the contract and get a professional company to take this on. Lot of revenue lost on this "quality control issue."

Yes but "New Balance" as a global football brand is what your average punter is seeing for the first time. Not many are going to make a connection between NB and Warrior.

63 quid for the top I usually get. Add to that two kits for the kids, plus P&P and it costs a bloody fortune.
Plus I have no idea what my chest size is (except that it's a manly size) or when it'll arrive.
Think I'll wait until I'm there before getting it.
