Unfortunately I doubt he'll ever get rid of his 'thug' tag but to me, from what I've read in interviews, Adam seems like an absolutely fantastic bloke.

In many ways Charlie is a throwback to a 70's type top league pro. To me this is a very good thing. To lilly-livered Arsenal type 'soccer' fans it is something they can not handle. Hope he stays for a while yet.

He comes across as a great bloke and proper football lover does Charlie.

You can be a fantastic bloke off the pitch and a bit of a thug on one, he's certainly the former and to be fair he can... At times... be the latter too

Scored some important goals this season but this one is clearly personal.
For us in my view, Charlie's Liverpool goal was actually better than the Chelsea goal. Unbelievable vision, skill and placement. Adam can be a genius in front of goal, let it be said.

Hard to believe Kammy was such a hard bastard when you see him acting the twonk on television.
Also, Charlie is a credit to himself. Never write him off. I predict him being a massive influence next season.

Good lad Charlie, home is where the heart is, but you'll always have a special place in the heart of most Stoke supporters. Top, top guy.
