Unless they get someone in very quickly it is going to impact on their chances of strengthening the squad this summer. Unless they recruit TP, of course, as he doesn't really start looking for new players until 1st August!

I hope it's not Sam......I'm looking forward to another delusional Mackem relegation fight which we won't have if Sam gets the job.

Sam has already stated that he needs some time off and will not be starting the new season with a new club , so I doubt it will be him.
How about that Dutchman ...Steve Mclaren

Sunderland is a very dull and cold windy place . Even the Vikings were keen to pass through .....I don't blame him .
How about the Brentford manager ?

Has Harry Redknapp written all over it Can't see Arry going north of Watford. Nailed on WHU when the dildo brothers fail to get a big name.

Over the short period he was in charge of the Mackem's I got to like Mr Advocaat and i'm genuinely sorry to see him leave the Prem. A happy outlook, refreshing honesty and humour in his MOTD summaries were always present and he wept when Sunderland's survival was secured. These old school managers are disappearing thick and fast.

Usual relegation scrap for them next season, they'll only escape due to the collapse of Newcastle and WHU.
