Splendid player. Reached immortality among Evertonians for this goal. It was the first time in ages Everton had beaten Liverpool. Some forget his winning goal and just remember the copper shoving him off the pitch at the end.

This is a shock. I'm remember him being the Star act for Everton in the early 80s, then not getting a look in as they came good circa 1984. RIP.

RIP Andy. Was at uni in Liverpool 76 to 79. Always used to go to Goodison to see Pej if I couldn't afford to get back for Stoke games. Bloody hell I feel old now.
