Hes lightning quick, a great finisher and has brilliant movement. His hold up play leaves something to be desired but thats not what you play him for.
Im not sure he would work in the current Stoke team but it wouldnt be too much of a change to cater to his strengths.
He barely played in Madrid and when he did he had to play a supporting role to Ronaldo, but he still did a decent job.

Without this coming across the wrong way, good enough for Stoke. Hes no Drogba but its probably the area he has improved the most since he arrived in Manchester.

Always up front as part of a 3, but that team is set up to provide Ronaldo with finishing opportunities. Noone else scores anywhere near as much. Hes been been more prolific in his limited appearances than Benzema.

Torres was the focal point when at Liverpool. Everything was directed through him. The main threat of an attack. As in wide I mean he has the pa ce and guile to run at someone and cut in and score from a wider position. Not necessarily as a winger as you seem to think I meant! So are you seeing him as a false 9 or inside winger?

He always played off the last defender in a front 2, with the other striker dropping deep. Its a while since he played in a proper Manchester United team but i dont remember him ever playing on his own up front. Not to say it didnt happen. With someone creative like Bojam behind him he could do well. His goals per minute and shot accuracy has always been ridiculously high.

It's permutational etymological madness!

What I mean is that when torres was the main man at Liverpool, everything was built around him,he was at the centre of every attack. When he went to Chelsea he was no longer the main man as their were other prima Donnas already there.

I've always seen hernandez as an impact sub, he could play the Cameron Jerome role and come on in the last 20 minutes to tear teams apart with his pace if he cant play up front on his own

Reports on MLS.com that City (Orlando) are in for the Little Pea and have a 70% chance of signing the lad. SLPmarc is going to be eating crow if true!
