As sad as the big guy moving on is, Hughes hasn't let us down and I'm happy to trust the decision. Bit of a bastard for me though, I've got to change my username :-D Nah,leave it as it is.

I love Huthy, but in terms of our league standing and overall play, the stats show that he won't be missed. Indeed, we've done better without him.
All this end of the world and awful decision stuff is bollocks. Even if he stays he's not going to get a game. We've effectively swapped a 30(soon 31) yr old squad player (at best) that is decreasing in value, for a 26 yr old squad player who is likely to improve and at worst retain his value.
It's actually not a big deal.

I'll be completely heartbroken if he goes. Wrecked. Will hurt.

His replacement isn't and can't.

Huth would not get a game because Hughes would play both Wolly and Wilson ahead of him. They may not be as good as him, but that's the way it is. That's what MH has decided and that should be clear to everyone by now.

I do and I have done for quite some time, it doesn't mean I have to accept it and indeed I won't! I just think with the alternative it's a fucked decision because both of them aren't fit to lace the big man's boots. And as such I will keep questioning it. Sorry.....that's a lie.

Bojan will run him dizzy next season. More worrying - what will the big man's response be if Bojan does...?!

I'd be amazed if he didn't go to Leicester to be honest. Another one of Pulis's gambles which came off brilliantly. He'll get a bloody good - and well deserved - cheer if he comes back to the Brit with Leicester.

Another one of Pulis's gambles which came off brilliantly. Another "buy one, get one expensively" wasn't it? Huth+Tuncay as with as with Crouch+Palacios (though clearly Tuncay did a lot better)

Not only a top, top centre back, but a bloody good lad that embraced our club and certainly had 'the right DNA'. Who knew Germans could have a sense of humour too? One of my favourite players ever, on and off the pitch.
I think the timing is probably spot on if we get £3M for him however, for us, him and Leicester. He certainly goes with my thanks and best wishes for the future.

Huth+Tuncay as with as with Crouch+Palacios (though clearly Tuncay did a lot better) Tuncay signed for £5M and we sold him for 5.2 million euros (about £3.5M). Huth signed for either £5M or 6M, depending on which report you read, and it looks like we might get £3M back from Leicester. Their deals don't remotely compare to Crouch + Palacios.

I think he's handled the situation brilliantly no moaning or bitching just got on with his job and let his football do the talking.
