What will folk divulge in. For me one will be twitching i love nothing more than getting the old binoculars out and look at some birds. Also i will be rambling in the great british countryside and will take a 9 day holiday in the lakes to visit Aunt Marie with my good friends Trevor, Alan and keith. We will talk for hours over a bottle or 2 of stout about our forthcoming season. Anybody else up to anything?

It's pc gaming for me =) although living where I do (Back of the Brit) we get lots of wildlife, Foxes, Squirrels and loads of birds including a Jay and a Bullfinch, unfortunately my dog likes to bite the head off wood pigeons which leads me to suspect he may be a Liverpool fan as they run around like headless chickens =)

As that wanker Scholes ignored your very sensible advice regarding the tartan blankets, I shall spend the long summer evenings crocheting myself a warm knee rug for those fucking cold days at the Brit Waggy.

Backpacking/camping for me. Out and about in the Shropshire hills or somewhere in the Peaks, preferably within walking/crawling distance of the Yew Tree, Cauldon.
I like to keep an eye on the birds as well Waggy and, in addition, I sometimes do a bit of stargazing - though that's usually after mislaying my tent following 8 or 9 pints of Ruby Mild at the Yew Tree.

I always thought my idea of a vending machine in the winter called ' the winter vending machine' where one can purchase head wear eg a cloth cap or a wooly thermal hat. Its an item that i see many a folk at the match without. Tony never replied to this email suggestion either

I know there have been many a game where my daughter Jessica has left without her wooly hat and Charlie has regretted not wearing his thermal long johns. Maybe you should suggest a wider choice of thermal items in the machines to make it more appealing to a wider customer base. Surely no one in their right mind would turn that idea down. Are you sure you have the right e-mail address Waggy? Maybe Scholesy has his spam filter a little too high because he is missing out on some certain money spinners for the club. If he took one or two of your commercial ideas on they would have enough money to fill the corners in in no time.

Been to the Yew Tree many, many times, and taken friends for the novelty (Honestly , a dead rat was on the floor on one visit) Is Alan still there? Alan was still pulling pints the last time I was in there in April though his son Dan is taking up some of the slack now. 4 pints of mild, a pork pie and a pickled egg for £11ish. Bargain! The Yew Tree Inn is one of the finest establishments in the country. Next time you are in ask Alan to get one of the old music machines (symphoniums?) going. Fascinating stuff. If it's quiet he will chat with you at length about the various items in his collection. My favourite is the "patented dog carrying device". The folk club on the first Tuesday of the month is worth a listen. If you search You Tube there is footage of one chap who turns up with a didgeridoo. The pub is even signposted as "historic" nowadays on the main road just up from the (slightly less impressive) Cross Inn.

We need Tony to listen somehow I think you should suggest a poster of 'where's Waggy'? They could print a picture of the JSU with everyone in their Stoke colours and people would have to find the one of you and Trevor sharing a cup of Bovril from your tartan flask.

When I said creosote It was merely to paint a picture of me doing said painting. But I am actually using HomeBase Mangers Creotec - Dark Brown - 4L. Which doesn't roll off the tongue like creosoting the fence does.

I recommend a tartan rug and a hot water bottle! (The latter not necessarily tartan.... System perfected at the Vic, c. mid-1960s.......) CO-ZZEEEE! PS: Shuddup, Wilhelm.........
