Not seen a thread on it but in all the euphoria what did everyone think of the look of the new kit? Must admit I didn't notice we were wearing it til I watched it back on Sky later so it can't be that different.

Really liked the new strip, including the stripe on the socks and, if we play like that every time we wear it, I'll be supremely happy. Just a pity no one can buy one yet. Poor do that New Balance, hold your heads in shame.

We scored 6 goals on it's first airing. I love that kit.

I was no fan as you lot know of us not going with a "top three" kit company. Top clubs are almost always Puma, Nike, or Adidas. No surprises with these companies you get quality "tat". That being said I have always been impressed with New Balance trainers and wear them daily. This New Balance kit looks great and that color of red is sharp with the thin black accents. However what has convinced me I am going to get it is the memory it will always provide me of the mauling of Liverpool with the whole world watching. Can't put a price tag on that, Mame, Crouchie, Charlie, Zonzer, and Jonny among the goals ....

I never noticed, although I think that's probably fine for a home kit, it's like they say if you never notice the referee he has probably had a good game As for the away kit there are 2 issues with it I suspect 1)A sash is a lazy-arsed way to try to lend something a bit of zing and at the same time it ruins the symmetry and makes the wearer look like the court jester 2)The black on this shirt is just too black, it will completely rinse the face of the average potter in the cold, wet winter months.

I thought the new home kit looked smart. Whilst seeing that sash 'in the flesh' on the away kit doesn't look so good.

End of the day though its the same company and Liverpool too were wearing Warrior training gear.

Red Socks looks so much better. I have no idea why we usually go with white.
