Diouf's second goal was better, and N'zonzi's was better than that!

Could not believe the outcome. Charlie's was by far the best! Like someone said, Steven N'zonzi's was better than that little shit's!

MOTD delayed the vote, obviously 'cos there is an Arse fan working on the programme and he was creaming himself about Wilt shahs goal...muppets! Still, we KNOW what the Goal of the Season really was!

It says it all that the arsenal keyboard warriors were out in force. Wilshere just whacked it, Charlie's goal was so much more than that. Everyone knows what the real goal of the season was, much like Crouchys a few seasons back.

Why was that goal even in the list? Because the BBC knew they'd get thousands of sad sac Gooners phoning/texting in to a) vote for their man and b) ensure a Stokie didn't win. Loads of dollars in the bank. Loverley jubberley Rodney. BBC the London Broadcasting Company. Cynical? Moi?

How the fook Diouf's goal at Man City didn't get a look in is beyond me. Wiltshire should be embarrassed

The ball fell nicely to him on the edge of the box, and he hit it. It shouldn't have been near goal of the week, let alone the season. I'm sure the Asian Gunners Supporters Club put the BBC twitter site into meltdown

I enjoyed Shearer's and Lineker's embarrassment, so there was an upside to it. Two of England's finest ever strikers and they were laughing at the tweeters who voted for Wiltshire. OS.

Pathetic from the Arsole fans, just pathetic. I've hit 10 of those goals a season playing Sunday league. Where as Charlie's goal, well I've never got near one of them.

This is what happens when you judge something on a phone vote. Arsenal attract twice the crowds Stoke do, so it stands to reason that they'll get more votes if their team is in direct competition - and especially given our history If Tom Pope had scored the greatest goal in the history of football and the Sentinel had opened a phone vote we'd have voted for a goal that had come off Steve Sidwell's bollocks before a Vale goal. Stoke City players have scored the best Premier League goals in two of the last four seasons and it doesn't matter how many shandy drinking southern bell ends have voted otherwise. Three of the last four (I count Begovic's as well).

Can you actually appreciate any Stoke City FC goal? Or are they all as simple as piss or mistakes from the opposition? Diouf controlled and instantly hit the ball and scored whilst Mignolet still thouht Arnie had the ball.

How is the show pathetic? Could employ a chimpanzee to do the job that Alan Shearer and Danny Murphy get paid a fuck-load to do, and it'd still be the best looking one one. Thankfully it's quite rare that Martin Keown is on the show.

Yes I can appreciate a Stoke City goal, I appreciated 6 goals that we scored past Liverpool, I'm just not biased and going to make out like it was an amazing goal.

It was a very good and well taken goal. Mignolet didn't have time to react and therefore it wasn't a keeping error.

It's silly to say "the keeper didn't have time to react therefor it wasn't his fault" if it flew into the top right corner then maybe, but when it's pretty much going through his hands then it is his fault.
