Outstanding performance today, topped off with a goal of sheer quality, N'Zonzi. Mention must also be made of Whelan, who was absolutely on top of his game, and all the Liverpool attack force throughout the game. Together, N'Zonzi and Whelan are surely one of the best CM parings in the Prem.

That was a ridiculously good performance from Nzonzi. He does it in his own unique way too. He looks like he isn't really bothered, just effortlessly bossed the midfield from start to finish and score the goal of the game.
Whelan was also exceptional as well. The guy can be frustrating at times, but he is definitely our unsung hero and will be hard to replace when he does eventually go.

Best midfield performance I have seen for many years, simply superb performance, I would say the best since the 70s. Huddy would have been proud of it.

Fully agree, I always thought Hudson was fantastic but today Nzonzi's performance was superb. Just hope he stays and that he can continue to perform like this in seasons to come.

He looks so happy at the moment. Surely there's some things more important than money.

One of the best individual performances I have ever seen. Are you talking about football in general?

I'm struggling to think of a better performance by a Stoke midfielder at the Brit. He was absolute class...never missed a pass, never lost the ball and what a goal to cap it all off. He will be our best signing this summer if they get him to agree to an extension!

Bego can go as we have adequate cover but if we lost Ryan or Zonz we simply would struggle to replace them.

When you watch the replay of his goal, just watch the change of expression on his face, when he realises that he has powered through and the space has opened up for him to shoot. It's like'ok nobody's closed me down, you're having in this in the top right', and I swear there is a smile as he curls it in. Absolutely sublime

said to my lad for years now that he is very alike vierra, but misses something and thats why hes with us,but hes coming on good and if keeps shooting with hes side foot instead of laces wow this guy is going be great. Trolled a Liverpool forum last night and a Cpl of posters on there compared his performance to Viera in his pomp and his last ten or so games its difficult to argue. As for better than huddy not yet but steaming along and catching up very very quick

Ive been lucky to have seen Hudson dismantle Liverpool, Chamberlain destroy Sansom, Beagries's purple patch, the Golden One in all his glory, Ricardo leave people face down in his wake,BUT I HAVE NEVER SEEN A MORE COMPLETE PERFORMANCE THAN N''ZONZI YESTERDAY AGAINST LIVERPOOL?!??! ......and its easy torget that the last two score lines read Stoke Cuty 10 Tottenham and Liverpool 1.... Unbelievable!!

It's certainly the best I've ever seen live.
Granted, I've only been supporting Stoke for 20 years.

Has been my favourite Stoke player for a couple of seasons now, definitely a modern-day version of Hudson only with more height, pace and stronger physically. Couldn't understand Stoke fans couple of years ago saying he was lazy and had a bad attitude (mainly because he wasn't a typical Pulis type player) but Cantona, Ronaldo etc etc also have that touch of arrogance which makes them stand apart. Whatever stoke's top salary rate is at moment, we ought to give it to him fast !!

Hudson's was against a great Liverpool side, we played really well yesterday, but you have to admit Rodgers really fucked it up. Nzonzi was the best midfielder out there, but not in Hudsons class

Nzonzi was imperious yesterday. I've not seen a midfield performance like that since the great Alan Hudson strutted his stuff. We have to build around him and not sell him.

Getting him sign a new contract will be the best signing we will make all summer.
