Sounds like a cool idea; mind you, I'm a bit old for clubbing now
Just hope they don't include the actual shooting!! I thought that was one of the best setpieces in the movie, that laser sighted pistol was a very cool weapon back in 1984. Still think its the best of all the movies. Not overly impressed with the trailers for the new one, looks too glossy.
Does anyone remember having a pair of those Nike Hi Tops that Kyle Reese wore in T1?? Black with a Velcro fastening?? I never had them but a mate did and I was green with envy! I wonder if they still make them??
Going back to the club, I'd wager most of those who go in weren't even born when T1 was released ??. I remember seeing it first time at the old Savoy cinema in Newcastle (worth a thread methinks) back in '85. It was made in '84 but I think we had to wait until '85 before we got it in the UK?

The Terminator came out in October 1984 en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_TerminatorAs for the club, it's Cafe 80s in the day time and has a Back to the Future theme.

Must take some work to alternate between the two movie themes?? Never seen a Back To The Future movie, they just never appealed. I don't generally watch comedies much. Did the opening go well??

Why was cash left in the premises. Too many scum bags in society these days to be able trust the general public

Yeah the cafe got burgled the morning after it opened, don't think they'll keep cash on the premises again.

An old thread, but the new film reminded me of it.
Did anyone try it out? Is there much Terminator style memorabilia in there??

Been to Cafe 80s and seen a few pictures upstairs. Good idea but I wouldn't expect the world. Go the coffee shop down the bottom of Piccadilly instead, tsp
