Decent write up, although again he is another indicating that he thinks Hughes is ready for another 'big job' Not sure what managing a top ten Premier League club is if its not 'big', I don't think Utd or Chelsea would take that chance, regardless of his links there? Arsenal deffo not, so that leaves the likes of Spuds, Scouse only that are 'bigger' than us currently? I guess Everton/Villa/Newcastle would be considered bigger jobs, but given the circus and lack of money at them, why the fuck would you go there! =========================================================================================== www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/32836906

I think LMH owes quite a bit to the Coates family for rescuing him from the doldrums, personally I would be amazed if he left us for a Newcastle, Everton, Liverpool etc etc and I also think it would be a massive mistake on his part considering what Coates has done for him

Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester City wouldn't touch him for obvious reasons. Manchester United would probably turn to Ryan Giggs.
Everton potentially, but their fans don't like him. Tottenham are probably the most likely, or Southampton if they get rid of Ronald Koeman.

I agree, as I said I would be amazed, after all he works near to his birth place and home, works for in my opinion the best chairman in the land and of course the best fans, and to top all that, he would be on a good screw.
Keep your beak out Robbie Savage!

Not yet, but if he keeps doing well here then it probably will one day. That's football.

I think that's very fair.
Monk and Koeman have probably had better seasons considering the loss of their best player(s) over the season and finishing as the 'best of the rest' along with ourselves.
Pearson's job has been nothing short of a miracle, and Mourinho won the league at a canter.
It wouldn't surprise me if Southampton, Swansea and ourselves are the clubs regularly battling it out for that 7th/8th/9th spot for a few years to come.

We've had this debate already and it sent Paul S into a state of apoplexy. Dunner werrit, life's too short.
As for Savage, he absolutely idolises Hughes, so no real surprise, even though our boss deserves the accolades.

Why would he leave ? he is the manager of a very good club run by great owners and he can still take our club forward, I think we can get better and he will take us there.

No ones saying he would, but he could manage at a bigger club imo. It was a rhetorical question not an accusation he's got a good job with more to come IMHO. I feel he could take us higher than a lot think, top 6 with the right backing.
