Anyone going to the soccer 7s next weekend ?. We appear to have a good line up so have a good chance of coming away with a trophy. There will be a few of us around the Wanchai area, possibly the Old China Hand if you want to meet up.
With this and the Asia Trophy, happy days to be living in Asia.

I used to play in The Bangkok Masters for the old gits. Unfortunately, a few years back during Songkran in Pattaya I stepped off the kerb outside Tim's Bar on 2nd Road to catch a baht bus, slipped on all the wet mud & shite in the gutter and ripped my left quadricep. Never went to the Doc's to see if they could straighten the muscle out and my left thigh has been useless ever since. Still good enough to play at the Manila 7's though...until last year when I ruptured by left Achilles playing 5-a-side after work. 7 months later I have just been given permission by the surgeon to start exercising more intensively. My left leg is a shambles these days and I have decided to give up footy for good. Now, after no sport for 7 months I need to try and get to grips with my golf game once more. Anyone who plays footy after the age of 45 is daft.

Hey mate, you fancy taking yr clubs down to Singapore, have u booked yr flight yet.[/quote] I doubt I will be playing golf in Singapore. However, I am happy to have a game with you in Pattaya the following week or so. Noticed that it is The Open Golf Championship from 16-19 July. So,it looks like the wife is on her own in Singapore as I will be watching Stoke on the Wed & Sat and the golf on the Thurs-Fri-Sat. Need to book my flight on Sunday 19th for an early dart so I can get settled in the pub in Bangkok to watch the last day of The Open all the way through.

Only down side is it is Don Muang, though that prob does not matter for you.

No problem for me. 2hrs to Pattaya for you...maybe 1h40 on a good day. Air Asia is the best price at the moment and the most convenient.
