Anyone know if Liverpool have had the same problem with New Balance? I do hope so! Liverpool kits were on sale tonight mate when I went DW gym. Right by the bloody entrance may I add

So basically what were left with is what we always used to do. Away kit released first then home kit a month or 2 later! That was always the way it was with Adidas and for many years before that. Why the last 2 seasons the club have tried to release all the kits on the same day is beyond me! They are asking for trouble with regards to the demand being put on manufacturing.

Our tin pot off the field operation didn't just find this out today.
Pre ordered for the lads birthday the other week they have a duty to inform their paying customers the moment they can not fulfil orders.
Considering Liverpool fans were always getting a free tshirt for pre orders how are NB supposed to fulfil this free gesture of goodwill if they can't supply our shirts
NB can fuck up all they want but the club is out of order sending out emails 24 hours before expected delivery

DPD delivery received.
Away shirts & Home & Away GK shirts received.
NO free New Balance T shirt.
Shame New Balance could do it for a big club like Liverpool, but not for little old Stoke !
Statement from New Balance letter received in first class post from Stoke City today, which I can't fault from the point of view of Customer Service.
No blame attached to Stoke City, but shocking from New Balance, who haven't even had the courtesy to offer an explanation.
Poor show

I suppose any company could be let down by its manufacturers in a third world country.
But, what annoys me is that New Balance delayed an announcement until the week before the planned delivery when, given a revised date of mid July, it must have been clear weeks if not months ago that there were serious supply problems.

Bloody wish they'd hurry up and finish those stadiums in Qatar.

Dare I say that the club could have played a major part in this total "cock up", as I fail to see how a global brand such as ADIDAS and now NB could both make the same mistake, in other words, they wouldn't.

I can believe it, we'd have been 2nd class citizens compared to Liverpool. Can picture it now a team of 50 strong sorting out the manufacturing and distribution of the Liverpool kits, with a couple of work experience goons tucked away in a broom cupboard at the back of New Balance HQ sorting ours and getting fobbed off.......

A minimum two month delay before they can supply ANY home kits? Whatever's happened that sounds like a massive balls-up, like they produced a few thousand shirts and realised there was a typo in the crest or something.

Mickey Mouse stuff. How can a company with only 5 clubs to supply mess this up with having months to plan. The Adidas thing from a few years ago was pathetic but is more understandable as they supply 100s of teams (be it bespoke/templates). New Balance have rolled new onto the scene and fecked up straight away. Just smacks of small club syndrome when you think how they've pandered to Liverpool's every need. Watch us get shafted again in July when Celtic/Liverpool release their other shirts

I have just received the standard letter from SCFC with the NB 'apology' which has no explanation as to why this has happened so I have sent the following email to the company, but am not holding my breath for an acceptable response.
Good morning,
I am writing to ask for a reason why our Stoke City FC replica home shirts have not been produced ready for purchase on the promised date of May 22nd 2015. We have received a copy of the New Balance statement which does not explain why this has happened and many of our fans are understandably very unhappy with this situation. To make matters worse you have managed to produce and supply Liverpool FC's home and away shirts on time as well as giving a free t-shirt with every pre-order. The free t-shirt has only been offered to our supporters as way of an 'apology' for your incompetence as a company. I think the least we deserve is a full explanation of why our club has been treated in this way and only informed at the 11th hour of your failure to comply with the supply date. I know as a supporter base we will be urging our club to look elsewhere for 2016/17 kit production company as you have let us down in a big way. My suggestion would be that a 'gesture of goodwill' would be to reimburse the cost of the home merchandise to all pre-order consumers via SCFC direct, thereby when it does eventually get delivered it will be free to the affected supporters.
I look forward to your response to this matter.
Regards *********
