will they take him for a promotion challenge after failing at Derby

will they take him for a promotion challenge after failing at Derby Reckon he'll do a decent job at Newcastle if Ashley realises what's staring himself in the face next season if he doesn't invest. McClaren has a good premiership club record on the whole, I think they could do a lot worse

Paul Clement would be mad to sully his reputation by taking the Derby job
He is a good and very highly regarded coach and should stick to the job he excels in ie: coach
Trusted by ancelloti to go to Madrid he should stay with Carlo

Derby sack him - he gets a nice payout and is free to talk to Newcastle. Seems like he's played a blinder to me. Wonder if he'll turn Geordie?!

I would say West ham. Steve had talks the other week and then stayed at derby and Carver was given the rest of the season. That would suggest Mclaren did not like what was offered. Big Sam for all the good he has done for wet spam it won't be good enough as the fans have visions of grandure and the owners like to pamper their visions. Big Sam to leave,Steve Mclaren to join

Actually, I live in the East Mids and Derby fans I know don't want him to go. They think he deserves another go and was unlucky with injuries to key players at the wrong time. Last year they were mugged by QPR. It's the new Chairman who is all hissy about the fact he didn't categorically deny the Newcastle situation back in January and he feels this led to the collapse. Supporters see it differently.
