Very strange signing, can't see him making an impact here with 4 CBs in his way plus possibly Huth. If we can get him out on loan for next season he may adjust better but I think he probably needs to under the Ness and Shea category.

=Ali Dia God and only knows how he ever got a deal here. It's a mystery how he's classed as a professional footballer. He looked pants today for the u21s. Makes Ali Dia look competent.

Dionatan Teixeira. Don't spell my boy's name wrong.
He'll go out on loan next season, no worries. Shit happens.
In other news after fanboying over Brek and Dion, I'm no longer getting excited about any future signings.

I've only watched him twice now but it's been enough, he's jaw droppingly bad. The first goal came from him fucking up an easy header from a long punt and then his hilarious attempt to cover it up. We give away a corner that we should never have done and then another corner later, goal. It's the simple stuff like that which make you wonder.

Because I don't think I've seen a worse player in 10 years of watching our reserves.

Pre and post injury, why wasn't he our on loan or playing weekly for U21's?

Mind you I thought the 3rd goal was offside in the build up but the linesman seemed miles off the pace.

And against West Brom he didn't look much better. And for someone who's 6ft 3"? He's absolutely atrocious in the air.

I brought the question "why is here" up a few months ago. It's clear he's not in Sparky's plans otherwise we'd have seen him ny now - God knows there been enough opportunities. The question for me is how do we get rid of him? When his contract up?

From the days of Jani Viander and probably beyond we always seem to need to make a signing just to tease fans and fill up those squad places. Perhaps we should go back to the days of just 2 subs and a squad of less than 20. You surely wouldn't see these players wasting ours and there time. Another summer overhaul needed.

As if that article was from 11 June. I forget how early we made moves in the transfer market last year. Hopefully this can be repeated this year.

His 5 minutes at Villa this season is up there with Edu's 10 minutes at Liverpool.

Isn't the fact that he's Brazilian a bit of a running joke at the club given his lack of ability?
Perhaps I've dreamt it to be fair.

Every incoming transfer at Stoke is a gamble. Always has been, always will be. Some have failed spectacularly, some succeeded spectacularly, many in between. He had a month's trial before he signed..... Still a gamble, mate. It's usually quite some time before we know whether the gamble has paid off. After Bojan's first few games I'm sure I wasn't on my own in thinking the Prem was too physical for him - only to be proved wrong over time. And, months after we signed him, I was still hoping that the old Palacios was suddenly going to emerge

You can't criticise the gamble. For that cash, it's worth it every day of the week.
It doesn't alter the end result though.

You have to question the judgement. This was a game between the two worst U-21 side in the upper leagues, it wasn't a Premier League game and he looked like the worst player out there on a pitch with at least 3 17 year olds on it.
