Anybody else genuinely not give a shit about Swansea?
They are a decent team but the whole club is insignificant.

Clubs like Stoke and Swansea should share a mutual respect as it's their true supporters who have suffered the extreme lows that should be (and I'm sure are) enjoying these halcyon days Sadly that message board appears to be overrun with Johnny come latelys who were no doubt 'supporting' Liverpool a couple of seasons ago Well said that man I still don't get how mid teams down lay in to each other when we are all in the same boat Divide and conquer - the 'big' teams must laugh their heads off

Next season they will be certainties. Don't you get tired of making a fool of yourself with these utterly ridiculous predictions? I do it as a joke now Dave. (A poor joke admittedly)

All that can be said is that they shouldn't be in English competitions, neither should Cardiff.
For all the same reasons that Celtic and Rangers were never allowed to join either.
English leagues for English teams...
Garry 'rr' Monk is a cock too.

Anyone else remember that mental swan mascot (Cyril?) that they used to have at the Vetch Field. Headbutting the cross bar like a lunatic.
Was Brian Little in charge when we played there? Think we lost. Maybe an FA cup game. Fuck knows, it was that long ago. I'm sure it was wank (par for the course).

I remember some old boy the other season on talksport saying that if they needed a point the last game of the season to stay in the football league he'd rather go into oblivion than get the point playing like us.
Fooking idiot!

I love how they think that Chico Flores prancing around with his ponytail would nail Charlie Adam lol. Not too keen on Sparky either are they. As usual there are the few opposing fans who have been living under a rock for the last few years. Also the idea that they could ever be intimidating is laughable.

Never forget meeting some of these daft cunts in the cafe at Stoke station Pissed as arseholes, hadn't made it to the game having travelled 3 hours on the train and spent probably best part of 50 quid. One of em starts gobbling off at us and as he was sitting himself back down we kicked his chair from underneath him. Flat on his arse, covered in his own ale, with us, the lads behind the counter and a couple of British Transport police's finest laughing our bollocks off at them.

I'd love to hate Swansea, but it's incredibly difficult to care about them at all. They're just boring all over. I can just about get worked up about their goggle eyed, gilet wearing, self loving twat of a manager. Got a dark secret that lad, maybe a pair of strangling gloves in his desk drawer or a prostitute killing van in Mumbles.

I have no view at all on Swansea fans because I don't know any of them personally. The word insignificant keeps popping up on this thread which is odd, in a pure footballing sense only and because they are 8th in one of the best and richest leagues in the World I'm not sure how they can be classed as insignificant, perhaps though this is just banter and I'm taking this thread too seriously.
As someone suggested earlier we maybe should be respecting clubs like Swansea, who like ourselves, have come out of the football wilderness to enjoy some real success.

I agree, but respect is a two way street Geoff. I think this is the big issue. It's not just us. Respect is earned, and one way you earn respect is by respecting others. Some clubs, I find their fans are respectful. I commented earlier about how I found Blackpool fans a very friendly bunch. Another team with a friendly bunch of fans (at least imo) were QPR, who were chirpy as fuck when we met earlier this season. Nice guys on the whole. Swansea, not so much though. Seem to have a superiority complex that drains down from the smug cunt that runs the show.

I agree joe it is a two way street, hopefully there are still some fans left in football who have respect for opposing teams. I think though there is clearly now a significant number of supporters throughout the game who only enjoy football if it is reduced to open hatred of each other, yet many of the actual players themselves do continue to have great respect for each other.

What a bunch of wankers.
I want us to do these more than any other team in our remaining games. Be nice if Adam scores a worldly, a handball and then a penalty that shouldn't be in the last 5 minutes when they were 2-0 up.
Who the hell do they think they are? Talking like they're premier league veterans. Can't see where their sense of entitlement comes from and why we shouldn't be in the league!
