I do much prefer the middle stripe to be white - but, historically, not really sure that it's a 'thing' as such. If they're genuine, both seem perfectly fine, especially the away. There definitely appears to have been an equal amount of both, but you're right, I too just prefer a white top with red stripes for no real logical or practical reason! Away kit is smart. Makes sense to go with green to match corporate colours of our sponsor and owner... Black shorts and green socks?

Not a fan of the sash, makes the shirt look like something a beauty queen should wear, not a football team. That said the black and green color works for me.

Too much red on home shirt (it's white with red stripes......), away shirt pretty nice.

If they are real, I like how they changed the badge colour on the away to fit in much better.

there are dark red pin stripes within the red stripes, be interesting to see how these look in reality, Stoke and pin stripes--oh no!!! Thats assuming these leaked kits are correct??

Are these not the (very good) work of that bloke on here who came up with kit designs? They look familiar.

Nah, those pics are just purely photo-shopped rumour stuff for me. There was a far more realistic ManUre and Liverpoo shirt spoiler that were actually the same graphic. Guess it means that we're going up in the world if people are taking to the net to release spurious guff.

The green sash ruins the away kit for me. I just don't like tops with sashes period. I'm a sucker for a sash. The Peru kits of the 70s are sen-sash-ional. Even Crystal Palace's efforts can't ruin the appeal. Although Gerry Francis comes close As a side note here, Gerry Francis has literally never changed his hair style has he?

They're both absolutely fine, very nice in fact. Though I think I'm passing the age where I buy a shirt every season.

Does this material look weird to be making a football shirt out of?

Maybe I'm just an old fart but I don't like the sash. What's wrong with having black & green stripes for an away kit?

Does this material look weird to be making a football shirt out of? Not when you zoom I'm on the badge and there's no break in the pattern. Photoshop Sherlock says "lemon entry"

Best home kit we have had since we come up is our first season strip with the thick stripes imo. Not seen one i want to go out and buy since. Ironically my favourite before that was the ansells 1992 auto glass trophy winning shirt which also had thick stripes. I guess i just like thick stripes

I found these pictures which are supposedly of our new kits. They both look okay to me, simple and classy enough, although the red middle stripe and red socks that are supposedly featured in the new home kit will annoy some of our kit purists. SourceThe shape is all wrong.....for the majority of stoke supporters it should be the shape of your avatar

Looked very slim fit which look awful at almost everybody, not only fat men like me! OK, will look good on some women though! Really hope they have other fit for most supporters!

Looks nice! The stripes look large enough to hold the entire badge; which is probably the one thing that bothered me a bit with this year' kit. Hopefully they keep away from the red-back from a few years back Away kit will do fine, the diagonal strip worked well this year. Interested to see the reveal on Friday!

Printed on badge and insignia....just like the Liverpool top. The quality of these shirts will be questionable.

Saw a phsycologist on t.v once said that thick stripes on a football shirt give off an optical illusion to the opposition team. Apparantly when you are attacking against thick stripes it is more intimidating for the attacking team because the thick stripes tell the brain the object wearing the thick stripes is larger and wider than it actually is.
Can anyone confirm this is true?

If genuine both nice. Away kit a nice safe one, nothing wrong with that, away is very smart. Best in ages if genuine. After seeing Newcastle's new away kit anything is fine
