christ the moan o meter has exploded!!! "WHATS GREEN GOT TO DO WITH STOKE",blah blah blah. Whats purple with a migraine design got to do with Stoke??Whats yellow got to do with Stoke?? Whats Blue got to do with Stoke?? Whats grey got to do with Stoke ?? Its a design, its different. If they are going plough a new set of strips on us every season they are going to have to come up with new colours. At least at Stoke we can have any colour we want. Look at the Vile. Hell would freeze over before they had any red in their away tops. Celtic would never have red, white or blue in their away tops. Rangers would never have green. We get what we want. As for the badge....wow. The club shop have been selling coats, jumpers,t shirts with a plain, uncoloured badge for years!!! You dont have to buy the tops. Were shit in away colours anyway. Weve won twice in our change strip since we came into the Premier League. The red and white top is stunning. I personally like the away top too. You can however get retro tops,60's tops,70's tops the works. They dont go out of fashion either. So save thee pennies and stop moaning. Stop moaning at people moaning!!!

It's all about opinions, and this board is a means of expressing them, isn't it? As you say, don't buy it if you don't like it - and I won't. It just seems strange that no one at the club for several years has thought to ask those who they want to fork out their hard earned cash what they would actually like to buy and wear. It seems we are expected to blindly stump up cash every season for whatever some bloke in a design studio with no association with, or connection to, the club dreams up. Is it really asking that much to do so? At least they've not buggered with the home top too much.

Ahhh, the elusive and nameless "people".......not me for sure. Mid-70s, white with red and black striped sash (I have the retro copy) is so far out of sight on away kits, the others need a telescope to see it.

At the end of the day it's just a kit.
It's better than playing as skins.

It always gets a mention along with the purple one from 93/94ish and then some of the older ones. Maybe it's a generation thing yer owd git!

I thought you'd like that. Is there a tradition of away kits I'm missing? My favourite is the green and black one. Black away kits are always nice. So usually blue, my second favourite ever is probably our third choice for the Europa League, I love that top.

The sash on the away kit should be a double sash: one red, one white - simple as. I know away kits are the ones that can be experimented with a touch (and I am glad they are not messing with the home kit too much - though the red and white should be swapped round so there is more white than red IMHO - we're not Sunderland), but where does this green come from? That sash idea would be incredible meirparkpotter could you knock one up?

I really like the home kit. Always like a bit more red in our home kits.
But I like the design of the away but just do not like green at all. Don't care about where it comes from etc etc
Just reminds me of something Norwich or Celtic or hibs would have
Would be better with light blue or sky blue. Really like last seasons away colours
Not red as that is a bit bayer Leverkusen
For the first time in a long time I might get the home top

I've just noticed the badge on the away one????
Looks like they want to save some cash on red and blue stitching
Gone down a bit more in my estimations

I wish someone would tell them to stop putting 'The potters' on the neck and use 'Vis Unita Fortior' instead.

It wouldn't be Stoke if something didn't go wrong though would it?
I've pre-ordered my boys kits and it crashed before I could complete the purchase.
I then went through the process again, succeeded but then it crashed when the receipt appeared.
I finally logged back on, checked my purchase history and I've got 2 orders now and both the home and away SHIRT have been charged at £ 96 each.
WTF???

I really like both to be honest. A poster in here said one red and one white sash on the away top which would look amazing!!

On the away it seems as if the badge is a iron on one, not stitched into the shirt. Can anyone confirm?

I remember us turning up at old Trafford in our first prem season & wearing white socks with our away kit (yellow shirts & blue shorts). Maybe we thought looking like Brazil would help us play like them but it was fucking embarrassing. Ridiculous. We did play like Brazil that day. Unfortunately Brazil from the 2014 World Cup semi final!

The away strip is very nice. Barring that horrific yellow contraption a few years ago, all of our away tops since promotion have been decent.

If you pre-order from the New Balance website what do you do about the premier league sleave badges as most years you have to pay extra but I haven't had any options to do so anywhere??

It showed the availability of having them on my screen so I'm not sure Oh no, well I've ordered home and away now. If they come with them then fine if not then I'll either get them put on or leave it if they look alright without. Did you pre-order it from the stoke shop or new balance's website? I did mine through new balance... Cheers anyway stokeboy.
