First few games I thought hello this lad looks class. I honestly thought he would get better and be a fantastic signing. But my oh my how my opinion is changing. He's gradually getting worse!! Ryan and huth still remin one of the best central defensive partnerships in the premiership

As someone who is largely on board with Hughes' breaking-up of Shawcross and Huth... Huth.

Ummm... Fiendish question...
If Hughes goes with slower- kraut rather than super-kraut he needs a word with himself.
Watch Huths last 4 games Mark and swallow your pride!

Huth everytime... It's not as if hes any friggen slower than Wolly but, he sure doesn't let people by him... His last four games he looks a different player. I'd love him back here no matter if he's second fiddle to Muniesa or a new CB.

Wollscheid is not a good player He is. He just needs to mature a little. And be better in the air, the tackle, get quicker and stop making stupid mistakes.

I would not expect either to be with us at the start of next season. Hughes doesn't appear to rate Huth (it may be an age thing) and Wollscheid does not appear to be an upgrade on what we already have. Our aim is to improve,on that basis we may need to look elsewhere. However, the manager will have his own thoughts and those are the thoughts that count.

Woolshied and Ryan just don't seem to work together. Wooly was much more composed alongside Muniesa. As for Huth, I for one am pleased that he doing well on loan. However, only Hughes will see the bigger picture.

Wollscheid prances around like a modern day bambi, and is very poor, that performance from him today was probably the worst by a stoke centre half in the history of football

Huth over Wollscheid definitely. But I want Muniesa to start when he's fit.

Wollscheid reminds me of a young Steve Bould. There's definitely something 'in there', but he's far too naive and gawky to be a regular in The Prem yet. It's a bit of a quandary. If Huth came back to play alongside Shawcross, could they again produce the same solid defensive partnership that was the equal of anything in our top flight? I have faith that Hughes will sort it one way or another.
OS.

He is. He just needs to mature a little. And be better in the air, the tackle, get quicker and stop making stupid mistakes. He had a nightmare yesterday no question but he has also shown that he can play and he can defend. If we weren't in the position we are in the league it could have been a bigger problem than it is but we have said the same about Nzonzi, Pieters, Diouf, Arnie, Adam, Whelan, Wilson, the list goes on and on. Surly people can see that he has natural ability and it is that that needs to mature.

I have friends who live in Leicester.
Robert Huth has transformed their team in the way Taggart did for us a few years ago. They can't believe he isn't a regular for Germany.
They can only think we had real doubts about his fitness to let him go out on loan as he must be our best player!! He is certainly their best player.

You read some funny stuff on Twitter.
Apparently Wolly can be better than Ryan.
So he's 26 not 19, he's weak in the air and in the tackle plus he's slower than a milk float in a head wind.
But he'll end up better than our skipper.
I'll leave that gem with you.

Muniesa for me as the ball playing CB. Him and Ryan look so much more comfortable together and they had that run of clean sheets when they played around Christmas time. I was undecided about Wollscheid today but he dawdles so much on the ball where as with Muniesa it is quick and accurate passing. Based on yesterday I would even be picking Marc Wilson ahead of Wollscheid. Sadly I don't think Hughes sees Huth having a future here.

The way we play now is we build from the back.
Shawcross has clearly demonstrated he can adapt to our new way of playing but Huth just doesn't have the skill and composure on the ball to do that.
So unless Hughes changes our style of play to accommodate Huth he is not going to get back into the team.
