ive always thought he looks a liability even when hes plays well No where near as good a defender as Huth, no brainer get Huth back in the team with Ryan still our best defensive pairing.

Huth and I'm amazed that anyone could think otherwise. The worst part of that is that Mark Hughes does think otherwise. I've been undecided until today about Wollscheid but he was utter dogshit this afternoon and the way he runs still freaks the shit out of me. It's unfathomable really isn't it?

I said after the game that I would much rather see mumi or wilson an the back even huth, I have tried to defend wolly but he has made far too many mistakes since he joined, although he wasnt the only one today, ryan wolly goeff and beg all made mistakes. For me erik stood out and possibly would make a good captain?

When you sit down and think about it yeah. I get that Hughes might want a better footballing centre half than Huth, but Wollscheid definitely doesn't look the answer and we have looked dodgy as fuck at the back since he's been in there partnering a below par Ryan also.

Absolutely no evidence that Huth wouldn't struggle just as much with the way the management are asking us to defend. I would suggest we haven't really looked secure whatever combination of players have been used. Whole thing needs a re-think as far as I can see with a bit more emphasis on the basics of what a defence is there to do!

Looking at it if they were an opponent and who our strikers would face then you'd think blimey they are in for a tough game against huth. Think they would fancy their chances against wooly. Be interesting to see if the Leicester move was just a fitness thing cis I think he's proved that.

Huth all day long. Wollshceid is a good player and could be a great player. I think the club should buy him at the end of the season. Huth though is already a great defender and Stoke shouldn't let him go. His spell at Leicester has done him wonders.

I don't see this football thing, because there is nothing wollschied does that huth can't. Huth is better on whatever measure you choose to use.

It looks very likely that Huth unfortunately isn't going to play for us any more. So it's Muniesa for me.

What's the score with Don Tex? He's been on the bench a fair bit lately but whenever we've had back four injuries you get the impression Hughes would put Butland in defence above Tex.

I was 50/50 before today but 2nd half he was shockingly bad and it was very worrying seeing him go to pieces. He still needs to prove himself for me. There is no doubt Huth is a better defender.

Hugh is in a class of his own for mauling , throttling and the attempted murder of Cockneys ( all done with a smile)

Abysmal performance from Wollscheid today,I was by no means convinced he was a replacement for Huth before, but today he was Sunderlands biggest threat. He is far to slow, easily knocked off the ball , indecisive .I can not see any reason to keep him, should be behind Huth, Wilson and Muniesa in the pecking order.

I think Hughes as to look at the whole squad and balance the books. I would guess Huth is on more than Woll meaning more money available for a forward player. The club wants to bring in younger players on less wages with less first ream high earning stars!

Wolly did have a nightmare but he's had better games and ultimately, he should be allowed an off day.

Not pleasant seeing our current massive German youth being bullied by Connor Wickham.
The idea of Wooly is a good one; unfortunately the reality isn't good. There is a chance Wolly will get better as he gets used to the league(Bojan didn't start too well) but at the moment Huth seems much the better bet as Ryan's partner, as does Wilson and Muniesa.
