I was contemplating going to the awards evening, an interest which terminated abruptly when I saw on the club website that it costs £300 + VAT per person. This set me thinking. We must, surely, be the only club where you can buy a season ticket for next season for less than it costs you to go to the awards dinner ?

According to the southern media West Ham will have free season tickets next year but will also be flying their entire 26k supporter base to Hollywood for the Oscar ceremony. They won England the World Cup, you know.
