Why should usian bolt get $20 million a year for running 100yrds in a straight line ? Or Lewis Hamilton £20 million a year for a few hours driving . It's called supply and demand . The reason a cock like Henry gets it is people like us who pay hundreds of pound a years to sit and watch him and millions more who pay £90 a month to watch him on TV . Any comparisons with other professions is irrelevant . And last time I looked doctors are earning plenty of money . Nobody makes lots of money just because they work hard You sound just as out of touch as Karl Henry does mate. Karl Henry is confused as to why rich people are the subject of hostility from those who don't have much. His attitude is that they aren't rich because they're not smart enough and they don't work hard enough and its complete bollocks. There are plenty of people I know that are intelligent and graft but they haven't got much to show for it. Supply and demand is capitalism and it is a grossly unfair system. Bang on matey

21 losses from 34 league games, perhaps he should be working a little harder, or maybe request a drop in pay. Just a thought like.

@karlhenry08: Too many feel that they're entitled to other people's wealth. You're not!! Be smart, work hard, make your own money! #VoteConservative Karl, you have let yourself down. You made yourself look like a total dick when you wrote that. You also made the Tory party as a whole look like the party of I'm alright Jack. A fantastic own goal.

But You're not entitled to other people's wealth......."be smart, work hard and you will make your own mone" sounds like sensible advice to me........or should I have told my children not to work hard because they should be entitled to other people's money? Ironically given your earlier response to my point the reality is that plenty of people work hard and yet they don't get properly rewarded for it, i.e Dr's, soldiers etc. And then you've got footballers like Karl Henry, bankers earning absolute fortunes and plenty of wealthy businessmen that in reality have worked no harder than anyone else who works for a living yet find themselves in a fantastically priveliged position in our society and its down to a system that allows such inequality to exist. But it's not about your point......it's about Karl's point....he is spot on, regardless of how unfair it is or seems......that is the way it is! he is right ......you are not entitled to other people's money and the best way to get money is to work hard for it......certainly not sit on your arse and moan about others with money

Now under the current system Karl Henry is worth whatever his employer wants to pay him but it seems that he, and you, can't understand why people feel aggrieved that our society is so broken that bang average footballers become millionaires. It's pretty obvious though, there are some people that work hard and enjoy great success and there are others that also work hard but don't really get as far. It's not as simple as 'work hard = loads of money' and that's the point I'm making.
