Early flight for me tomorrow morning into the UK for the game, so if I can start this thread as I am getting a little excited now.... Massive game for them, will they shut the shop and play for a point? Great opportunity for us to get above Swansea into 8th place, and put some distance between Wet Sham. Isnt it about time we dicked someone??? Whoever wears the red and white will be getting full vocal support from me, fuelled with oatcakes, Bass and Wrights Pies as it will be an early start Saturday morning.... Goooooaaaaaarrrrrrnnnnnn you Mighty Mighty Potters!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 3-0 Stoke. See you there

Begovic Cameron Shawcross Wollscheid Pieters Whelan N'Zonzi Walters Adam Arnautovic Diouf Go at them from the off, I expect us to give them a spanking as they're a piss poor team devoid of all confidence (cue a 0-1 defeat )

Gonna be fun posting in this whilst the match is being played... You not coming down? Went last season and had a decent time, despite Kevin Friend being an absolute tool Was meant to be coming down this season, but I've got work till 1 so won't have the time to come and make it...will just have it on the laptop and desperately argue the case of Sunderland...

Fletcher has only scored 4 in 24 this season. Expect him to bag one from a defensive mixup on Saturday.

Read on twitter you'd sold about 2,200 surprising it's not already a sell out is that an indication that some fans are resigned to relegation?

The team picks itself I guess with the injury state. Begovic Cameron Shawcross Wollscheid Pieters N'Zonzi Whelan Walters Ireland Arnautovic Diouf
Adam for Ireland if he's not fit. Would prefer Ireland if he's fit for that extra bit of pace, can't see us losing this one but knowing Stoke we will.
2-0 Diouf and Walters.

I reckon Chucka will get a start no matter what.
Wouldn't be shocked to see Bards back in either.

We need to keep an eye on Defoe he's there danger man for me. Any chance Odom could be on the bench?

Well, this has got charity written all over it given how wank Sunderland are and us coming off the back of a win against Saints... :-)
Nah, not really - I predict Arnie will have his best ever outing for Stoke and we go on to win well in the second half...

Aye goes without saying, we don't do too well when pressure is on us either - it's a North-East thing Went last season and had a decent time, despite Kevin Friend being an absolute tool Was meant to be coming down this season, but I've got work till 1 so won't have the time to come and make it...will just have it on the laptop and desperately argue the case of Sunderland... Read on twitter you'd sold about 2,200 surprising it's not already a sell out is that an indication that some fans are resigned to relegation? Wouldn't surprise me, the performances of late have been nothing short of disgusting - I'm actually shocked we have sold a four figure allocation if past performances are anything to go by...

My results record during 16 years of exile is so impressive that some would find it unbelievable.... ...I dare not put the mockers on it but the only time I have seen us lose was the cup final. Guaranteed win here lads.

I hate to point out that Sunderland have had 7 0-0 results this season. Some teams have given them a hiding; they've conceded 4 or more goals 4 times. But generally they have shown an ability to defend; their problem is they are poor scorers. Stoke will have to be far more accurate in their shooting than last week. I'd have Adam on from the start (otherwise same team as last week) and let's give the ball to Diouf more.

Just a tad under even money. Yes, I'm sure Sunderland will battle and it's never easy playing desperate teams but as someone just said, " we're due to thrash someone" Stoke win Start with Diouf, Arnie and Adam and Walters
