Would of thought it Banks? As long as its done properly, in a proper place, looked after and lit. Great. But then again this is Stoke.
What other stuff would we like to see added around the ground? Gates etc?

On the applications form, under pre-application advice. The name is Mr Thomas Coates, is this a coincidence? Yes, he's the planning officer dude for the council I think.

This is the long promised statue of Mama Sidibe. I think it's for a local hero, Dean Crowe.

This is the long promised statue of Mama Sidibe. I think it's for a local hero, Dean Crowe. Say what you want about Dean Crowe, the amount of last minute consolations he scored when we were 3 or 4 down in that Brian Little season was second to none. The memory of him rushing to grab the ball out of the net, pumping his fists as if to say "come on lads we can still do this" (we never did) will live with me to my dying day.....

I heard it was going to be Macari and Nello mounted, but planning at the council insisted they were only to be shaking hands

I've seen the Gordon Banks statue in the Potteries Museum today. Looks like it's only there temporarily.

Some people seem a bit obsessed with statues as far as I'm concerned. By all means your most famous ever player but you have to draw the line. Murals in the concourses would be nice but you can guarantee that even when a statue is commissioned there are those that then moan about where it is, too small, not keep tidy enough etc.
