Bojan has excited people in a way that I've not seen since Hudson. Yes he missed much of the season with an injury but we see posts on here about him every day, proving the extraordinary impact he has made on this club. I don't see how I could vote for anyone else.

Has to be Whelan by a country mile. This year it is the easiest decision since the award was introduced.

Nzonzi Walters Pieters That order for me Pieters? Strange choice, I like Eric but he doesn't stand out as player of the season I just think he's been consistent whenever chosen mate. Imo he's a very good player

N'zonzi for me, by miles.
Had he not got injured, Shawcross was nailed on for it because he was playing brilliantly prior to injury.
I don't get Walters being in the running in all honesty. He's been better than normal and was massive for us in the aftermath of the Blackburn debacle but he has been pretty inconsistent in my opinion and is nowhere near player of the season status. I'd have Shawcross, Whelan, Moses, Diouf and even Bojan ahead of him in the race for that particular award.

Pieters? Strange choice, I like Eric but he doesn't stand out as player of the season I just think he's been consistent whenever chosen mate. Imo he's a very good player I agree mate, he is the best full back that we have at the club and have had for a long time. I really don't get why Wilson had become first choice before his injury, one of Hughesy's more baffling choices but he is an afterthought for most when it comes to player of the season and can't see him getting too many votes.

Got to agree with Johnno. Walters has improved but has still been inconsistent and since that hat-trick has been pretty poor.

Nzonzi Walters Pieters That order for me i think Pieters is a good shout, all of our poor defensive efforts have coincided with him being out. Not my choice either though since he has missed a lot of games.

N'Zonzi.
Bojan got injured too early on, else he'd have walked it. Same goes for Shawcross in terms of injury, he hasn't found his form since being out.

Difficult one this season really, not one player really stands out for me. Absolutely spot on, you must be finding it difficult to choose between Adam and Cameron.

Surely voting should really open at the end of the season?
What if Diouf was to score 5 goals in 5 games? (which is most definiely possible)
Then he'd surely be the best candidate for Player of the Season but most people would have already voted by then.

Should influence games a little more with the outstanding talent he's got but N'Zonzi is the only realistic candidate in a good but peculiar season.

#6 Glenn Whelan.
He's had some bad games this season, and arguably there are probably a couple of players that's been more consistent than Glenn this campaign.
But his always ever-present hard work and the job he did serving as the Captain of the club in the absence of Ryan Shawcross was just brilliant through and through.
N'Zonzi will probably nick this one in the end, and I reckon he deserves it to be honest - but I had to vote for Glenn just to show my appreciation for what he has done this season.
Bring on Sunderland!!!

Nzonzi for sure. Bojan had he been fit would have romped it though. Walters 3rd. Diouf 4th.

Tough one this is....
I think probably Shawcross for me, closely followed by Walters then N'Zonzi.

Bojan, Moses and Shawcross would all obviously have been right in the mix had it not been for injury.
But, as it is, it's looking like an N'Zonzi landslide for consistent, season-long excellence.
