New Corner.
1. Angela, the corner for which planning permission has been granted is for 1,800 seats not 2,500
2. The problem is not that single fans can't get a seat. It is mainly that friends and family can't get a seat together. For at least half of home games setting seats together is difficult.
3. How do you expand the fanbase if there are not spaces for existing fans to bring friends and family to attractive games?
EDIT: Two friends of mine who I brought down to the game from Cumbria - got seats yesterday but they only seats they could get together were in the upper tier of the main stand and were (slightly) restricted view. I can't understand why this is all they were offered when the home area of the South stand seemed to have many vacant seats.

I don't think Stevie G will play at Stoke. I think his last game will be at Anfield.I agree he has been a great player Ange, but he does hit like a girl.

Angela, the claim on the Oatcake was that Diouf would not score 10 goals IN ALL COMPETITIONS!

Drogba? He's been a great striker, but his wages would be ridiculous. He's too old for us surely.

I'd have Bardsley and Munesia in against Sunderland and I'd also think about playing Crouch and Diouf up front if Crouch's groin can take it.

Bardsley might be very keen to play against Sunderland?
However, I would start with Cameron, same team that started the 2nd half.
On a different point, Sidwell did well when he came on imo

If we expect Waring to be pressing for a first team place - we'd better sign him up quickly as his contract expires at the end of June!

There isn't really much room for manoeuvre team wise for Sunderland is there? Two changes for me.
Bego Bardsley/Shawcross/Wollscheid/Pieters N'Zonzi/Whelan Walters/Adam/Arnie Diouf

Sunderland need points desperately , they will need to be very attacking so we need to play with pace - Diouf and Arnie must start and be ready to hit them on the break
2-0 win for Stoke please

That interview with Colin Murray where our defence was discussed is daft. Our defence is nowhere near as bad as Murray and the bloke on Knot FM said. There are 13 teams with a worse defensive record than us. They made it sound as if our defensive record was one of the worst in the league.
