As you know we have quite a bit of trouble with our club at the moment. As football fans we need to drive scum like this out of our game! I have copied and pasted below the message from the AVFTT message board and any support is greatly appreciated. As fellow Football Fans we need some help over at Blackpool For the last 10 months a fan has been in legal wars with the owners of Blackpool Football Club – the despised Oyston family This week the fan has had to settle out of court to the tune of £20,000 plus 10k in his own costs as he could not afford to take the risk of having his day in court as the Oystons were going to claim £150,000. The law in the UK for libel is heavily weighted towards the rich rather than the just I have provided a link below to an online support fund where we are asking all football fans in England to share and donate any small amount towards this fight. The Oystons seem to take great pleasure in suing retired pensioners. Even if you cannot afford to donate please share with all your fellow football fans on facebook, twitter, via email and any other means so we can try to help Many thanks for listening and link to the support fund is below www.gofundme.com/s5bbb8rYou can also see more about our ongoing battle with the despised owners of our club at the link below www.facebook.com/tangerineknightssupport?fref=tsLinks to the full story below www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3042292/Blackpool-fan-forced-pay-staggering-20-000-damages-allegations-online-Oyston-family.htmlwww.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3030302/How-Blackpool-laughing-stock-sorry-story-Oyston-mess.html

Every Blackpool story should include "Owen Oyston-Rapist".

Just out of interest, what were the initial allegations made by 'Frank'?

Hi, Is there any other way of donating such as paypal or cheque? Thanks. And good luck in both objectives of raising the whole amount and ousting the Oystons. It is hard to believe and even harder to accept that people as rich as them could possibly take money from a pensioner, especially as the guy has even apologised. Unforgiveable in my book.

Just out of interest, what were the initial allegations made by 'Frank'? £20,000 to post ! Frank's fund seems to be gathering momentum. £7,000 in a day. Shame the money raised will still end up in Oyston's pocket whilst an OAP has been to hell and back for the love of his club.

Good luck. Hope Blackpool as a club are sorted out soon too. It's always a shame to see a club we have such historical links with in such a state.

Just out of interest, what were the initial allegations made by 'Frank'? From what i can gather he had a bit of a rant over where the prem money had gone. The guy only has 36 friends on his facebook so i can't imagine much damage was done to the oyston family.

Is it possible to pin this thread to the top for a couple of days - our clubs do share a great bond in the legend that is Sir Stan - I am sure Stan would have wanted us to do our bit for the seasiders

Come on guys, let's keep this at the top and help these guys in their fight against the goings on within their club. My donation has been made and they're now over £13k but still some way to go. We'll be with you.

Has Russell Brand got involved? I know a lot can't stand him and I know some will question his motives but I for one don't. I think he could do a lot for this cause.

You can't question his loyalty as a fan. He could draw a lot of positive publicity to this issue. Mind you, celebrity fans like him could probably donate the whole amount out of the loose change under his car seat.
