This is a ridiculous way to handle the situation, I am no fan of Sterling but he is a young lad who makes poor choices. His agent has really made him look a knob and "mincer" in this case. Bless his cottons.

There's nothing wrong with having ambition but Sterling hasn't done enough to prove himself worthy of a step up from the level he's currently at.
Would Man City take him and give him regular football ahead of Silva or Navas? Would Chelsea take him and select him ahead of Hazard or Oscar?
It'd be a risk for any top club to take him on, and if they did, he'd just become a bit part player and his form would probably peter out as a result (hardly good for his "ambition").
Bale moved to a massive club on the back of a sensational season. You get the feeling Sterling is expecting the same deal on the back of a bang average one.
I actually rate the lad for what it's worth but it's more potential than ability right now.

Man City want more English players so it is possible, as for expecting the same deal the fuss his agent is making it's pretty clear he has definite offers in place already so after Sterling got Brendon a "spanish" penalty at the Brit, looks like its also going to get a "spanish" transfer for himself, karma for Liverpool and Brendon.

Glad that Sterling will not playing on Sunday. He has got pace, and would be out to shut up the CESSPOOL boo boys.
He will end up at a London club. Hopefully it will be Leyton Orient.

Liverpool have cancelled the meeting with him and his agent. Love to see him languishing in Liverpool reserves until his contract expires in 2017. It would send out a strong message to any mediocre player who thinks he is gods gift.

Vastly over-ratted this lad. His record for Liverpool is 47 games 11 goals roughly on a par with our own Diouf 33 games 9 goals. He is quick but rarely is there much end product. I really can't see any top club wanting him.

It does make you think how bright his agent is. It strikes me that some agents are more arrogant than there players and they're not the ones with any talent.
If I was a player I certainly wouldn't employ someone who had the intellectual negotiating skills which include calling Liverpool legends "nobs." and saying his player wouldn't player for his current club for 900k a week.

A lot of criticism aimed at Sterling. I think the agent is getting off very lightly.
It's obvious now that these agents are controlling the game. These agents are exploiting the immaturity of the players. It's no secret that most footballers are not the brightest buttons in the box and a lot of them ( like Sterling) are very young and find themselves with far too much money.
In contrast these agents are seasoned campaigners who know the ins and outs of the business they are working in.
You could argue that he could change agents, but who is to say a different agent will work differently. They are in it for the same thing and the rewards are phenomenal. They have got far too much power.

It would be fantastic if Man City and Chelsea came out and said they didnt want him, stuck in the stiffs for two years would send out a message to all the other money grabbing twats.

It may well make one or two clubs who were interested think twice.

We really are short of talented English stars aren't we. If Scrotes like sterling are able to dictate their future riches then we really do have a massive problem. To say this knob is severely overrated is an understatement. The majority of his game is praying on defenders fear of tackling him because he will certainly throw himself to the floor the cheating little cnut. He will get found out if he stays in the premier and become a non entity like Ashley young. I hope this gets really dirty and Liverpool refuse to sell him. Let him suffer and realise that in the grand scheme of things he is unimportant. Come on Liverpool make a stand! Also I would love it if the FA / Premier league banned agents from future negotiations and effectively made these tossers redundant.

Funniest thing in all this is the Liverpool fans. 6 months ago he was the greatest prospect on the planet and second only to Messi and Ronaldo. Now they think hes an overrated speed merchant who wouldnt look out of place at Tranmere Rovers.
Its fairly obvious money has nothing to do with it. He doesnt think he will win anything with Liverpool and clearly doesnt get along with Rodgers. Ive no problem with a player wanting to leave under those circumstances.

This Aidy Ward chap is certainly doing a good (short term) job for his clientele. He's refusing to be intimidated by the Liverpool media machine and he's got everybody talking about his boy, Raheem. I just hope that his roster of a couple of hundred clients doesn't include any of our playing or management staff.

I think his boots are too big for him and he going to end up falling on his face and hurting his ego. He should be still playing for an under 21 team and england u21 to keep his attitude at bay until full maturity. Too much money too soon. Talented lad.
