Don't get this sort of rubbish, our season isn't over until the last match. I want us to win every game, I'm a supporter of Stoke. We all know we're not going to win the league, but if we had that sort of attitude we wouldn't even turn up at the start of the season, we would all be supporting Chelsea or Man City.

I hope the players don't have this kind of attitude.

You go have a steady stroll around the golf course n I'll watch the mighty potters in all probability lose to Chelsea, that doesn't matter though as I support stoke. Win, lose or draw.

Because we're safe from relegation? In between knocking your balls into a hole and getting worked up about the Championship, what else gets you excited, as it sure as hell isn't Stoke?

This season is far from over concerning the finishing order of the top six or bottom five teams. Even if Stoke get thrashed at Chelsea there will be plenty of more opportunities for teams to shoot themselves in the foot or go on a very good run to finish with a flourish :-)

I understand what you're saying, I just don't feel that way myself. Personally I want us to finish 8th so desperately, I want to show improvement every single season. For this club to finish 8th, all the while looking like a fucking triage unite, would be an amazing feat.

I do see where the OP is coming from, I feel like I am on a long wait for the real action to start again next August. No points at all from WBA and Palace did little to improve my fractious state of mind and it further does not help that this weekends game is Chelsea away. I feel like I am just standing their legs apart waiting for someone to give me a kick in the bollocks before we go off for the summer and there isn't a single thing I can do about it

Plenty to play for. Pride in the performances, points to get us as high as possible. Irrespective of what happens against Chelski, we need to try and beat West Ham and take the wind out of Southampton's sails for a start. Hopefully players will return for the later games. I, for one am looking forward to the rest of the fixtures!

As stated just above, for us to finish even higher this season with the injuries we've had is nothing less than an incredibly outstanding achievement by Mark and his team. Gonna be tough on Sunday, but I cant see it being like that match when Ancelotti was in charge there. Shame Moses cant play, it feels as if we approached every match this season hamstrung with some sort of injury to a crucial team member.

I'm aware of that. Just pointing out it seems every match a player was/is forced to be left out this season.

I bet you're the one who leaves 5 minutes early to beat the traffic? I can never understand why people make the effort to go to a game and leave before it's finished. Why make the effort to go in the first place, if you don't care enough to see the full game?

Not me buddy my group are usually the last ones out of the Family Stand and often applaud the players doing their warm down.Even if I left 5 mins early there would still be congestion on the bridge over the canal so whats the point. In fact although I don't get to that many games these days (living in USA) the last game I left early from was QPR away in the binary season, the game was shit we never looked like scoring and I was in my business suit getting absolutely soaked in the open away end....chew on that sad lad.
