Wheels within wheels mate. Football transfers can be agreed, officially or unofficially months beforehand. He's on a free isn't he? We can't do anything official till June but I suppose we could have contacted WBA and sorted it out with them first, you know, on the quiet? If not, it's an ace thread. Ok, but why would he transfer his boots in March? If your contract runs out at one club, you can still sign a pre contract at another, 6 months before it runs out

I've always found it hard to get a handle on him. Seen him have some games where he's looked a world beater in that position - but they bought him for pennies (which in itself is odd) and equally odd that he hasn't convinced Pulis who you'd think would love him? Yeah I thought he'd be right up Tone's street but if we could swap Sidwell for Mulumbu I'd be happy.... Now THAT would be a deal up TP's street in my opinion. He loves Sidwell plus squad players aged 30+ are TPs speciality - by the way didn't he once try to buy him years ago when we were in the championship?

The package was sent direct from Adidas in Manchester and addressed to Mulumbu at Clayton Wood. How the holy f@ k that can be interpreted as Mulumbu sending it to Wingie, Christ only knows!

He could ask Adidas to send them directly I guess but as said further up you wouldn't address it to yourself. And why would he send another professional boots anyway?

Maybe Mulumbu is contracted to Adidas as an athlete, therefore it would be in his name & he and wingie are good mates. Who knows

Maybe the fault is at Adidas end, with their database mail system getting players and clubs mixed up. They could have an account with John Walters and his Boots have ended up at West Brom's training ground (if they have one). There's probably a thread on a Baggies message board somewhere linking Gooarrrn John to the Baggies over the summer based on the arrival of said boots. In fact if Adidas really tried they could keep the message board trade thread going for a number of clubs.

Definitely biological warfare. TP has infected them with Athletes Foot hoping they fit Victor Moses. Moses then can't play rest of the season due to having itchy toes and then West Bromwich swoop in over the summer and bag him from Chelsea. The perfect crime...

It's only now that we realise it's all been an elaborate April fools, then Coates tears off mulumbus name to reveal "kenwyne Jones" beneath. The messiah returned.

View Attachment Anyone got any idea why Mulumbu's footy boots were delivered to CW last week? I hope this is true, if only to confirm you as the most ITK poster on here.
