Do we know when tickets will be on general sale? They were scheduled to go on sale 11th March but it now days TBC. There will be no general sale for this game. Only season ticket holders and those with 60 points or more on their card can buy one. I phoned the ticket office a few weeks back and was told that the club has taken the view that with it being the last game of the season, Liverpool and Gerrards last game they decided against a general sale as they didn't want tickets ending up in the wrong hands.

Surely fans with 60 pts on their card are already season ticket holders? Nobody knows if Gerard will even play so why all the fuss? This seems stupid we'll end up with a gate of around 25k unless we give Liverpool a bigger allocation which will not be v popular with us!!

He comes to a few away games with me but is not a ST holder. I agree, it does rule quite a lot of people out though.

Heard a lot of Liverpool fans want to be there on that day and offering daft money for tickets.

Because regardless of whether or not Gerrard plays, Liverpool supporters will be snapping up seats all over on the off chance.

I do get the clubs stancs on this. If they didn't do this if there were problems they'd be criticised.

I got one on my wife's card (non season ticket) It will be off loaded to the highest bidding scouser near the time. If it doesn't sell then the wide will come to the game. Win win really.

Well, it will be "win win" for you that's for sure but not necessarily whoever has to sit either side of the 'highest bidding scouser" who will no doubt be vigorously beating himself off over Steven Gerrard all game

Just checked the official site and the minimum points required are 30 not 60. The rest of what is in the post above is correct - there will be no general sale.

Horrible feeling this game will turn into a horrible Gerrard love fest in a way only mawkish fake sentimental scousers can do.

Surely fans with 60 pts on their card are already season ticket holders? I understood that non-ST holders get 10 points for each home game so provided they've been to 3 home games (30 points required now) then they should be ok.

Liverpool fans over here in Northern Ireland are going mad trying to get tickets.....FFS! My hope is that Gerrard gets sent off a few weeks before and misses the last three games, oh how that would put an end to the love fest. My gut says his last game will be the week before at Anfield and he won't get near the pitch against us....hope so anyway - can't wait to see him away from the Premiership, really have no time for him....

I for one think the club has used some good sense in the way it appears to be handling the situation. It doesn't take a great deal of imagination for a group of Liverpool fans to have bought up a dozen or more 'scattered single seats' on general sale, then on entry to the stand all choosing to sit together ,occupying other peoples seats, in the hope that as long as the home fans have a seat it doesn't matter where it is .... This would make for a potentially volatile situation ,as it would be obvious where and who the 'away fans' were.
I'm hoping that the Stoke faithful can hijack the Gerrard send off ...and turn it into a big thank you for Tommy Sorenson in the likely event of it being his last squad appearance.

Can't imagine Gerrard will see the pitch, personally. I could see Liverpool making damn sure his final appearance takes place at Anfield, not the Brit.
