Yep 2-2 extra time, NFU could have won it in the last few minutes. A bit like our game v WHU, which we nearly blew it after being 2 up
I'll miss extra time got to go and pick the lad and his washing up from the train station

I went to the Semi between Bath & Ferriby. Bath lost on penalties, otherwise I'd have been spending Palm Sunday in London against those nasty N. Wales chappies...

sorta like watching Stoke only at non league level
nothing is ever simple or straightforward for Wrexham
BIG FAVOURIEST facing little more than a pub team today -strolling it at 2-0 they get done on penalties after extra time
some people say 'only Stoke would this happen to'
not true

"Pub team". Lol.
Wrexham are a mid-table non league team who've been beaten by another mid-table non-league team a division lower than them in the pyramid.

Fantastic game that. Really entertaining stuff.
Brilliant effort from North Ferriby.
They never stopped. 120 minutes at Wembley for part timers against pros is no joke.
Also fantastic gesture from Barrow, North Ferriby's rivals, to request their Conference North game be postponed in midweek so N.Ferriby could prepare for the Final. I'm sure that made a big difference.
Cant imagine a Premiership club supporting another Premiership club like that.

Who gives a bakers about these teams? This comment sums up what is wrong with football these days. When I read a so called Stoke fan saying "goaaaaarn wre ham" and constantly goes on in other threads, I don't actually care about them. I have more interest in hoping teams survive and don't want any to go under, but I'm not particularly interested in what they are doing otherwise, why should I? My team is Stoke. Read the threads where Stokies are hoping another team goes out of business, Port Vale, that is disgusting. Oh you will like this, I don't believe Welsh teams should be in the English leagues either.

A lad I went school with is captain ( Liam King ) I do believe that the club was out of pocket paying for coaches, suits etc. for the day and needed the win to get the pay out. Cracking day out all around, glad I got to see him lift the cup.

Some people do, do you have a problem with that? I have supported Stoke all my life , but I am also a big fan of non league football, that is grassroots football which Is I believe makes a great contribution to our sporting culture and local communities. If you take the trouble you will find positive elements of what I would call traditional football culture still existing in non league that are fast disappearing in the hype of the Premiership That is part of my explanation of why I care, if you are not bothered I have no problem with that, but what is the point of posting if you are not interested anyway! It certainly means a lot to a village of less than 4000 to lift a trophy at Wembley.

I like to keep an eye on other teams, but Stoke are my priority. It is the so called top teams I really like to see get beaten. Always like to keep an eye on Grappenhall Sports, as I used to play for them many moons ago, when they were known as Grappenhall Athletic. They are a local village team from just outside Warrington for anyone who has never heard of them. Getting back to Stoke, I really hope they put up a god performance next Saturday against Chelsea. Goooaaarrrrnnnnn Stoke!!!!!!!
