That's scarily probably true. Mind you, Strachan is managing to get a tune out of that bunch. Maybe he should be the manager of the Great Britain football team!

Why have you got Ryan Shawcross in there? He can't even get a game for his national team at the moment so he wouldn't get in a Great Britain side,would he?

There's no one good enough, or significantly better than their English counterparts in the Scottish, Welsh (including Bale) and Northern Irish teams that would justify England joining a Great Britain team.

But the question wasn't a Great Britain team be significantly better than an English team was it? The question was, if there was Great Britain team, (as there is in many sports) what players from each home nation would be good enough to make the squad.

Good that you didn't describe his effort as high, wide and handsome; 'cos there's nowt handsome about Naismith. Other than the pay cheque he's collecting from Everton of course!
