Don't think he'll like you saying he's a he/she. He's a sensitive soul I've upset him before with far eastern stereotypes. Bizarre you should mention that, that was maybe 18 months ago, but was only thinking about it the other day. Anyway, water under the bridge and all that. And I can confirm I am a He..........Sometimes... I didnt want to stereotype you by thinking that everyone who posts on here is male, I wasn't referring that you were a chick with a dick ????

That's definitely bullshit. Fingers crossed it is. If we had to sign Downing to get Shaqiri then I'd rather have neither. Awful player.

What reputation did we have before Tony Pulis? That's right, we didn't. Correct, and 5 years and 100 million quid in the PL and still we don't. L E G A C Y

I can't see us getting Shaq to sign for us as I think he will have better offers from elsewhere.
I think it's great that the club are publically showing ambition for these next level players, but I don't think the constant negative media reporting about the club does us any favours whatsoever.
Maybe Moses, although it seems he's not keen on returning to us, or even Lennon at the right price, would help us push on again this season.
IMO I think we are still seen as an unfashionable provincial club, even now still tarnished by Pulisball, and derided by the media at every opportunity.
It must be really hard to sell Stoke City to these next level players and agents. Maybe another couple of seasons of progression and a Europa League spot may then help to convince one or two players that we are a viable proposition.

Not sure about this 'Sky Journo's at eleven o'clock...' thing. If they had been invited to CW for a cpress onference they would be reporting that there was news due out of Stoke. I notice that Shanghai didn't say that we were signing both, just that there would be an announcement about both. If it happens, it could be that Shaq isn't coming, but Stuart is - I just don't think Sparky would do this to himself. I'll wait until 11, but I suspect I'll be filing this one in the bin.

I don't mind Downing but it's his age that would concern me. I don't think we should dismiss players of his level as rubbish. I'm beginning to get a feeling that we've skipped a level too soon with Shaq and Kono.
I'm liking more the Joselu level of player who has a lot of potential, wants to play for us and is still hungry.
For me I'd be going for the Robertos of this world and the Muni types who can earn us big money in the future as they blossom.

If Kono is anything to go by it seems that pure, hard cash isn't always enough either.

Hard to know where it stands. Is he prepared to let Hughes sit down with him and try and convince him? (mind you, presumably he already had that pitch in January?) Sentinel

Arrive interesting news for the coffers of Inter. According to the Corriere dello Sport, in fact, it would seem that the initial no Shaqiri at Stoke City has become now a yes. Basically, it would remain to be filled only 500,000 Euros between rich engagement guaranteed by the English club and the severance pay that Inter could grant. Because with 17 million euro to be received, it can make some concessions.

Anyone translate this
