What would you do if for some reason we were playing on the same day as England and you had tickets for both, and, to make it more interesting, what if both games were on TV? Would Stoke be your priority, would England take your fancy or would you sit at home/the pub and watch both games? (obviously this is only theoretical at this point in time as prem games are scheduled around internationals, but this was a potential problem back when we were in division 2/league 1)
Myself, Im Stoke first and England a very distant second, but im just interested to see whether you owe your allegiance to the flag or the red-and-white as a lot of people I know put the national team first.

is it just me or is this the biggest no brainer ever?
would anyone (who supports any team) ever choose the national side over their bread and butter?

I support England but only because I support a club team and follow my national team as an addition.

Stoke easily.
The only time I'd choose England is if it was World Cup final or summat like that.

Wouldn't even dream of picking England over Stoke. I hate watching England at the best of times.
Not the England I grew up with.

I've never been an England game, so for that reason I'd choose England unless it was an important Stoke game.

Stoke........ Watched the first half tonight and was losing any inclination to watch. I live and breathe Stoke but feel no emotional tie to International football.

As FIFA is bent and with an inept FA run by tossers who picked a joke of on England manager, why would I waste my time on anything other than my beloved Stoke City?

I'd rather see us lift the JPT than England lift the WC. Is any other county so apathetic to the national team?

How many millions of time have we had the club or country thread?
I can't remember the last time I watched an England match..I have no interest whatsoever. Why would anyone want to watch a team full of Arsenal..The Shit..Bindippers & Chelsea players?

I'd choose Stoke - but I might have already topped myself as the need to make such a choice would mean we had dropped down to League 1 - the third tier of English football.

It's like asking wife or mistress, you can go back to the wife anytime but the mistress is something you don't indulge in as often If it was England v Germany in the Euro final or Stoke v Pulis WBA, I think I'd take the England game, but if it was England v San Marino or Stoke v Arsenal it would be Stoke

Normally Stoke, unless it was a crap Stoke fixture against England v Germany/Argentina/Brazil in a Final with at least one Stoke player in the line up. I'd definitely pick that over some boring fixture like Sunderland or something, but only if all those criteria had been met.
