I've heard off a few on here that we're not bringing a strong squad,we go conned into that by Pulis in Valencia so not going risk it again. And ' a few on here' know what squad we're bringing to a friendly tournament months away do they? Don't talk nonsense

Sheckels permitting Im thinking of getting out there for a game, so have any dates been 100% confirmed yet...? Cheers First game is the 15th july second is on the 18th July , I'm flying out on the 13th coming back on the 19th so I hope they dont change the dates :-) Total cost including flights and hotel is 700 quid. I'm right in guessing that's £700pp id love make this trip to see some where new and to cheer stoke on is a massive bonus. I heard Thomas cook or Thompson are doing package deals to accommodate for the stoke fans wishing to go, does anyone know anything about that or was I misinformed? Thanks

Thanks I'd say your best bet is to look on Expedia for flights and hotel, then compare booking direct with which ever airline expedia have as cheapest. Some of my pals that come here ( Thailand) fly with Eva Air from Heathrow, circa £550.00. Hotels range from 30 to 80 quid a night. Good site for hotels is Agoda.

Thanks Yeah pp I searched high and low the flight was £550 with Air france from manchester via Paris and the 4* Hotel was £150 pp for 5 nights, brand new hotel Park hotel Alexandra road, that opens in May 2015, you can get cheaper Turkish Airlines was the cheapest I found again from Manchester via Istanbul, but on the way back there is a long wait in Istanbul which did not suit me and work that flight was £470 so depending what kind of hotel you want you could do the trip for under £600 maybe even around £500 if you stay in a backpacker type place which I found for £30 for the total stay of 5 nights! Flight from here : www.skyscanner.netHotel from here : www.booking.com

Four or five of us will make the drive down from kuala lumpur, maybe a couple more coming in from hong kong. On that note we have a team playing in the hk soccer 7s at the end of may. Anyone have info on this ?. Is it an official stoke city event ?

Hello cobbers Does anyone know their way around Singapore, with regard to Hotel proximity to the National Stadium/Singapore Sports Hub?? Any assistance would be appreciated, but from what I can ascertain, the PARKROYAL on Beach Road is only 1.6 klms (1 mile) from the Stadium....can anyone confirm, please? Is anyone else considering staying there?

I expect a strong squad, but a cautious approach as no one wants to get injured just before the season starts.

We should get the marketing dept. there and hand out 1 thousand free shirts to locals who are going. Get them onside and make us look better on TV.

As you say, brand new and at 150 quid for 5 nights you have yourself a real bargain. Guessing it's a special opening offer or something along those lines. An added bonus...it's right next door to Ikea!!! Hot dog, ice cream and drink for S$2!!!

Buses and MRT (underground) will be very cheap from there. Whilst still cheap, try to avoid taxi's though as it's in the centre and there is a congestion charge type scheme here that bumps the prices up quite a bit.

Looks expensive compared to the Park Hotel Alexandra Road where me and my lad are staying, Shanghiapotter has booked with his group too, atm on booking.com Parkroyal is £500 compared with £395 for ours they do look on a par as far as standard of hotel, although the one you posted is closer to the ground.

Don't forget topcashback.com for money back on pretty much all booking sites with flights/hotels.
Not an advert just a way of making the trip a little cheaper....for example booking.com.... Get close to 10% back....
Free money = more Bass or Pedigree

Thanks for all the advice guys. A little more research reveals that (on expedia), the round trip (ex-Sydney) from 14/7-19/7 staying at PARK HOTEL is $1395.00 and at the PARKROYAL is $1546.00, which is not that great a difference, but staying in a brand new hotel DOES appeal Passport Application completed.....ready to lodge Has everyone registered to be advised of Ticket availability?
