www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-32009961Fascist anti-democratic scum. What has this got to do democracy. Attacking a man's family on a Sunday. Whatever you feel about UKIP, this is no way to act.

or the protesters are. Either way, this is aimed to stifle debate. To make people scared from having their own view because they don't like that view.

A threat to democracy and freedom of speech. An attempt by mob rule to try and shut a different point of view up. Trying to intimidate somebody while they're out for a Sunday meal with their family. Is this the worse thing that's happened this weekend? Of course not. But we should all be concerned who value our democracy.

I dont think this is going to change that overnight....Unfortunately. Things like this are a Godsend for him.

As Voltaire has been quoted as saying: "I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it." But no, you like the mob rule. It's not about UKIP, it's about political parties being allowed to function without the mob intimidation.

Seems the anti UKIP brigade got wind of him having lunch with his family somewhere in Kent, they stormed the place and he and his family had to flee, his 10 yr old and 15 yr old daughters had to hide in terror, he tweeted " as I write this I still don't know where my daughters are".. Err hello....If I got separated from my kids the last thing I'd be doing is tweeting....However...It seems he got a little confused and was actually eating alone...so thankfully his kids are safe and sound...they did not have to flee...AS THEY WERE NOT THERE YOU LYING TWAT.

Bad - yes. Pathetic - yes. Good news for Farage - BIG yes. Provided he doesn't milk it - which he appears to be; tweeting about missing children FFS! All in all - should be embarassing for all concerned. I think though they'll all be proud of their sections.

Good job she was not the one sitting on his bonnet , the car would have needed repairing. I wonder if any of these people have been charged with public order offences

They said they chased the family out of the pub and jumped on the politician's car bonnet Is is that not scary for a young child? is it normal for grown ups to do these things during Sunday lunch time? shouldnt they be more interested in being with their own families before going back to work the next morning?......oh, wait a minute

Acting like fascists to point out someone is a fascist. Just because people have got fed up with uncontrolled immigration doesn't make them a fascist. Name a UKIP policy that aligns with fascism then?

I feel for Nige, poor bloke was hounded out of the pub before he even had time to slip the waiter a tenner and get him to treble the bill so he could claim it back on expenses.

Acting like fascists to point out someone is a fascist. Just because people have got fed up with uncontrolled immigration doesn't make them a fascist. Name a UKIP policy that aligns with fascism then? I didn't meant to imply UKIP were fascist. I was saying that the protesters were acting in a fascist way. I agree UKIP are voicing genuine concerns about immigration, and unfortunately people who share those concerns are painted as racist or fascist.
