Wouldn't it be sensible to boost the numbers of the Branch by including Canada and maybe Bermuda and the Carribean countries in a North American and Caribbean supporters branch? As I understand it the aim would be as much to secure easier advance access to ticket sales with the social side being more of an optional extra. So, it shouldn't matter too much to the club whether you all live in one country or not. Logically we could have an Australia/New Zealand group and maybe an Asian group (step forward Joe in Oz and Shanghai Potter!) with the same objective of securing easier access to tickets well in advance of games. A "Western Hemisphere" Stoke Supporters Club"? FFS man we would number in the 100,000s of thousands!

I can say yes to both those events - honestly! Can you be our guest speaker at our first anniversary 'do? Certainly - for reasonable expenses which will include turning left when I board the plane - and a top hotel - none of your crappy USA low rise motels.

Count me in, provisionally. But I'd like to know the whys and wherefores of it all. Do we get blocs of tickets for games over here? Do I have to learn songs? Do I owe money?

It would be good to see a place on the board for foreign supporters clubs, or to see the club actually make some effort with other clubs. Hopefully some good will come of it

Because you want a place you can talk Stoke with fellow USA Stokies. We will organize trips to matches, if Stoke come to the USA we will have some kind of tailgate, etc. we will have access to match day tickets, no forcing to learn songs and as of right now I don't see a need to pay any money to just be a member.

There was a Mexican supporters club a few years ago. I can remember them all visiting the Brit in their traditional head-dresses and having pics taken at Sir Stan's statue.

You know that is an interesting idea .... If our beloved Potters don't make it across the pond who is up for a summer/fall get together in Orlando? We can tailgate and hit an Orlando City match. Maybe Inchy and/or Phil will stop by. we can fly Lakeland Potter over as the guest speaker and burn 1860/Bayern Oatcake in effigy. I'll then get a Charlie Adam(s) piƱata made to cap off the evening.

Doing the 'discount double check' before Aaron Rodgers made it gay. Skated away doing it while three were laying on the ice, season one. Fucking love him.

I can sing the national anthem in that awful manner you daft gits seem to love? I must admit, I hate it when some celebrity prick decides to sing the national anthem at an event and "make it their own", with all the Whitney Houston warbles they can muster out of one note, until it's truly butchered and you just hope the fly by drown's out the "O'er the land of the free - ee- eee- eeeeee-ooh-aaah-oh-oh-oh-oooooh ..." !
